Dorsett Grand Subang Hotel

Overall everything is very beautiful. I was very impressed when I see the lobby, hallway and the room. The room is very comfy, especially the lazy sofa (?). Wifi was given during check in, the internet was good. The staffs were very helpful. I called to request some cutlery and for a trolley. Both request waa granted right away. Love the hospitality. The location is great too. There are convenient stores near the hotel, so easy to buy stuffs we want. There are also many good restaurants nearby. Can order foodpanda without waiting for too long.

The toilet and shower room that I got was a bit poorly maintained. Looks a bit dirty, broken tile in some places. Not very bad, but I would expect better from a hotel of this level. One of the elevators was also seems like it is poorly maintained. It gives a weird sound and shakes a bit it kinda scary. We need to pay the parking per entry. I don’t mind the fee because it’s not that expensive. However I think it’s a bit unacceptable for a hotel of this level for not being able to provide a free parking space for the guest.

The hotel was great. The location of the hotel being outside the city meant we where close to friends and family. We hired two adjoining rooms, so the kids where separate from us but linked. So really easy to be together. The rooms where spacious and very clean. The swimming pool was great, the staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. The food at the hotel was great and easily accessible from room service to the restaurants. The breakfast was very good with a variety mixed dishes. The beds and rooms where very clean, comfortable and a pleasure to be in. I will definitely stay hear again in the future. Top top hotel. Thanks for all your service and help over Christmas and the new year everyone. X

The only thing I have to complain about was, the staff where just too nice!!

Cozy bedroom and quiet environment (away from traffic)

Some events on 17th November 2023 and suddenly the hotel lobby filled with Guests, Police Officers and Security Guards. Worse case was when the parkings were full and disallowed for entry (even with parking space) and we had to park our car at Lake View Club. Then we waited until 8pm to retrieve our car and park again at Dorsett. Nothing informed by the Hotel and Nil information on the parking fee reimbursement. Indeed RM5 parking fee was petty but RM5 was a day of in house parking rate by Dorsett and we had to bear RM5 (lake view parking below 5 hours) plus the inconvenience to guests to park our cars again (after 8pm)

Location , the view, the comfortable beds,, the helpful staff.

Minor maintenance issues e.g Toilet not flushing well, bathroom door difficult to close, some lights not working.

When the parking was full, I was told to go to Lake view parking - later I discovered there was another parking area before the main parking area. It was so hot to walk from the lake view area and I also had to pay more too for parking there Also it was not properly explained that I ought to have come in to the counter each time before I go out, in order for me to get a $5.00 concession - so I ended up paying $10 for each exit instead of $5 Would have loved to be able to order cocktails from the bar up to my room I found the carpets were not that well vacuumed. My room was cleaned daily but I doubt the floor was vacuumed.

A prominent hotel in the residential area of Subang Jaya known for hosting weddings, conferences and corporate events. close proximity to medical centre and local commercial centres. Classic aesthetic hotel deco giving a nostalgic vibe. Reasonable room rates.

No lift from the underground carpark to lobby. TV outdated model. obsolete switches in rooms which no longer function.bed mattresses are too soft and sunken. Aircond system needs upgrade.

1. Lift is so efficient, no need to wait too long even at peak time 2. Comfort bed 3. A lot of restaurants nearby. Various choices. 4. Suitable to stay either short or long period. 5. Large parking area & in front of hotel

1. Less capacity of bell boy. I need to push the trolley by myself up to my room. But I understand the current moment, maybe due to full house. 2. The policy of housekeeping due to C19. Housekeeping will be done by alternate day. I hope housekeeping will be done everyday as normal procedure. 3. Some fittings need to be upgraded eg blind in the bathroom.

Everything about it is wonderful. If not for the ventilation leaks on the entrance of the door and caused my baby to slip, our stay would have been perfect. I love the beds, the bathroom, the view and total overall experience. I love the choices of breakfast and their tastes and that the concierge are super alert to our needs and are very helpful to ease our troubles with the luggage.

Good location, Room clean and spacious, Good room facilities, shower is great and the king size bed was a real treat. The security and concierge were helpful.

Car park is not free and paid by per entry and not reimbursable. Also no allocated guest car parking. Got parked out when the hotel had function. Had to queue each time to get debit card endorsed at reception before can drive out. Dining facility seems to be hidden. Overall, the lobby lack facility and rather empty.

great stay.decided to booked a room. we had two adjoining rooms. checking in was hassle free. so was checking out. hotel staff are all fabulous. had an incident that my dad thought he left his handphone in the room. a quick call to the hotel and was followed up super fast. handphone was found,with my dad. he left it in his luggage lol. beds were super comfy. front desk were attentive and always smiling. the serve staff at the restaurant were exceptional good, especially Maria and her partner. i was traveling with three senior citizens and Maria was attentive and very helpful. kudos to the hotel for having great staffs.
