Ambre - Adults only

Ambre had such an amazing vibe and the beach, the pool, the food and the staff were all AMAZING!! We had come from a neighbouring resort and Ambre was bar none a thousand times better, right from the get go, we won’t stay at any other resort when we come to Mauritius again - Ambre has stolen our hearts!! ❤️Tracy checked us in was very thorough & friendly. We had a large quiet, beautiful, clean, room & the king sized bed was so comfy. The complimentary mini bar in the room was restocked daily with beer, pop, water, chocolate bars & chip - Nice touch!! We also really like the tea & coffee (with real milk) that was provided in the room - Nice Touch. We also had a beautiful ocean facing deck that had comfortable furniture. Ravish looked after our room perfectly was super friendly & professional. We celebrated my husbands 60th bday at Dolce Vita - Davisen the restaurant Manager & Ayess took very good care of us, making us feel very valued & special, the service that was provided was the best - professional, friendly & the food was delicious & top quality. We celebrated our 25yr anniversary at Le Plage & Ashiss was wonderful, friendly & professional - the food was excellent!! Anntish looked after our food/drinks on the beach, he was amazing & always had a beautiful smile for us! Vishnu the bartender & Ashwin in the poolside lounge were both so prompt, efficient & friendly. The buffet where we mostly ate had a really great selection of hot and cold food with an ever-changing menu of local & international dishes . All in all we had a wonderful stay at Ambre & all of the staff were super. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back!! ❤️

Fantastic facilities, beach, pool, water sports and golf. The all inclusive option was great value for money.

on arrival our room was not ready as yet. the staff offered us a room where we could change and take a shower. the same room we could use after check out at no extra cost. very nice guesture. the hotel is in a very nice setting, natural beach with palm trees, nice thached grass hut shade, the beach is not as windy as the other hotels on this side of the island. kiting school just 15 min walk on the beach. room very big and comfortable, food was excellent. Management offered us a bottle of champagne as a welcome gift. we have travelled a lot and we must say this hotel is top quality.

Very relaxing,loving and caring vibe.What ever you ask they make it possible.Mr Putee the Hotel Manager is hands on and always to be seen,mange the staff,see that the guests are comfortable and happy.He surprised us with a bottle of Champagne in the room,and a going away dinner on the beach which was so surprising.The service of Amar and Deepak at the Beach restaurant is oustanding!The food served plated and so tasty,you can basekly ask for anything and it can be served.The buffet Resataurant"s food was also outstanding and improved from previous times.Other names to mention is Soosbash at the beachbar always mixing a cocktail as you wish.Dolce Vita paste Restaurant is another option to choose from foof also amazing and a lovely view of the sea.service excellense!

It was our 4th time and excellent as always!Staff is amazing,friendly,helpfullClean beach,crystal clear water,lots of watersports.Food is outstanding,with a choice of 3 Restaurants.Nothing to complaint about

The hotel looks very nice, no children is also quite an advantage. The beach is clean The room has everything you need, quite big. Stuff is very friendly and helpful All inclusive package is really good, so if you going here better order all inclusive, to fullly enjoy all the activities and food and drinks They have nice compliments for honeymoon couples

The food even so the choice is big - always the same. Breakfast and lunch - always same, dinner are different, but while you staying more than a week it is repeating. Not many activity in the evening. The night shows starting at 21.00 and until 23.00 only. Also we got not the best weather, so during the rainy days there is absolutely no activities.

Beautiful beach - one of the best, esspecially in the right part of hotel, The hotel is not exposed by wind (south-east, east) There was not so windy. Beatiful infinity pool, Beach is opened, you can take a walk a few kilometers both sides. The staff was amazing.

Rooms was average. Lack of food for allergic guests. (gluten free breakfast) Average facilities.

Every interaction, whether it was with the front desk, housekeeping, or any other team member, was marked by a readiness to ensure our comfort and happiness. Cuisine: The food at the hotel was a highlight of our trip. Each meal presented a new and delicious adventure, featuring a variety of flavors that catered to every palate. The chefs went above and beyond to showcase both local and international dishes, prepared with the freshest ingredients and a lot of passion. Dining here was not just eating; it was an experience to remember. Beach & Surroundings: The hotel's beach offered us a piece of heaven on earth. The clear waters, soft sands, and stunning vistas provided the perfect backdrop for our days in the sun. Whether we were lounging peacefully or exploring the natural beauty around us, we were constantly in awe of Mauritius's enchanting landscape. Cleanliness & Comfort: We were thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. Our accommodation was a haven of tranquility, impeccably kept and inviting, allowing us to unwind in a spotless and comfortable setting. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness significantly enhanced our overall comfort and satisfaction with our stay.

Beach is the best in the area. Very comfortable. Food was really nice, dolce Vita is the best. Staff was really friendly. Big thank you to Kenny that made our stay more special. He is a great worker, fast, efficient, always smiling, great with colleagues and clients. Nice fireworks during New Year’s Eve and nice dinner.

Service sometimes was a bit slow but employees were very nice and it brushed it off. Not a lot of informations were given. For example, we went on orientation and some important informations were left out. The boat trips are free but you need to book, they didn’t mention it was required to book. Also, I would recommend a new system to book the restaurants. A lot of people book and don’t show up. Even with no shows the restaurant doesn’t take walk ins. I stayed in hotels where they would put sanction if people don’t show up. For example, they were forbidden to book for the next 2 nights if they didn’t show.

The front desk staff were amazing from check-in to the checkout and for everything else in between. Deena was amazing and went out of his way to ensure that we were being well taken care of. He made our Christmas dinner a bit more special as it was my birthday. The spa was the highlight of our stay. Raksha and Reena were amazing, and so was their manager, Binda. We had forgotten that children existed until we got back to the airport. Overall, our stay at the Ambre was AMAZINGLY relaxing as that it was we precisely went there to do. Will definitely do Ambre again.

The young bar attendants and waiters were great, but just a little confidence and interpersonal skill building workshops would make it perfect. They seemed a bit shy.
