Best Western El Cid

Our family loved our time and stay at El Cid! The proximity to shops, restaurants, and harbor life are perfect! The room was spacious, and the cleaners were fabulous!

It would be a nice touch to have some type of continental breakfast and decent coffee for guests to enjoy. It doesn't have to be elaborate, just something better than what was offered.

It was really clean and comfortable service staff are fast and polite , even maintenance staff are very helpful rooms are pretty big , I would stay here again

Plenty of parking , space is really small, need to have family get out of the car before parking , remote on t.v. hard to control need updated, buffet food was not that tasty

The place us stunning. It's is in the heart of the really nice part of town with the best cafes restaurants and bars all in a short walking distance. You are away from the people trying to sell to you every few feet. The staff are really nice and so helpful, they are so giving of there time and take genuine pleasure in making your stay the most pleasant it can be. The rooms are huge and really airy and comfortable.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Staff were more than accommodating when there was a small issue with the ac in our initial room. The location is great and the rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Ensenada.

The layout of the hotel as a whole is a bit strange. Depending on what floor you stay in you may not have access all the way to your room's floor from the elevator. You also need an additional key card (not your room key) to access the elevator.

the staff was super nice! they made us feel at home…a tall smiley man (young) was very helpful! LOVED the location…very safe and there’s live music in the area and nice little cafes…a block away from the malecon too!

it’s a bit outdated, but I didn’t mind since a lot of things make up for That!

The staff was excellent. The front desk, the valet (the older gentleman who showed us to our room), and the housekeeping were all very professional and helpful. A bonus was that the front desk could communicate in English with me. It made checking in and asking questions less stressful and embarrassing because my Spanish not good. The room was very clean and charming. Great view from the balcony. The location is perfect.

The WiFi in my room wasn’t working for quite some time. A gentleman at the front desk did fix it and even came to my room to make sure it was working for me.

Very nice hotel, I speak Spanish and English but the staff did speak English which is good for the folks who don’t speak Spanish. Over all I would recommend.. It is also very safe and I felt the staff looks out for your safety. I will stay again and next time I will lay off the burgers and eat at El Cid restaurant which is on the property and looked like they had some good food.

Good location as it is close to wharf area. Restaurant was good and the prices for food and hotel were very reasonable. Staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a good value for the money.

Fair amount of street noise so light sleepers beware or get a room not facing main street. You can also hear the neighboring rooms but really not that bad.

Excellent location...restaurants were close by and boardwalk. they also closed the street so we could walk feely that was great .

Parking was tight and awful .television was too small and had problems with starting and handling.
