Villas El Morro

Loved the view and the pool.

Stayed in the little room under the pool and there was no internet. We were not aware of this before we came and nobody told us.

An amazing view of the town and the ocean! The suite was very roomy with an big living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfy bed with AC. It is not a brand new hotel, but it is very clean and well maintained. I noticed every morning the guy cleaned the pool for a good 40 minutes and the bed was made every single day. The restaurant is simple but very affordable and offers fresh food. We have been going to Zihua for 5 years but this hotel is definitely one of the best values in town. Most importantly, the staff was friendly.

Nothing we did not like! However, you should expect needing a car or a taxi to get to the town as it's located at the top of the hill. We had a car and there was no problem.

The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and pool. Great view. Stayed in the economic room, not fancy but comfortable with a nice little porch area outside which was shaded.

Stairs to and from town require some work (which we didn't mind), but there are cabs and Collectivos which will take you up the hill if you don't want to walk. Water was not hot, but got warmer in the afternoon.

View is fabulous, apartment is big, balcony is great. staff is friendly and helpful, very clean. Pool area is very nice. Restaurant food is good and reasonably priced. Many return clients and long stays. Easy walk into town, however steep stairs.

Some lounge cushions and umbrellas are not in good shape. Hot plates in kitchen do not boil water or fry meat, they do not get hot enough. Restaurant is mostly empty and would likely benefit from some basic promotion, even for hotel guests i.e. menus in the rooms and pool and room service(Phone)

Incredibly clean and accommodating. The view is something else. I booked this room before injuring myself. Upon arrival, I knew that I was not going to be be able to make it up and down the hill daily, much to my disappointment. I will definitely stay here in the future and I a sad that my leg injury didn’t allow for it in this visit.

love the grounds,pool area.didn’t have hot water 3 days,no apology or adjustment.lady not very caring. stayed there previously,think need more effort to guests in&out of lobby. Also went to Wyndham for ideas of things to do.might offer more suggestions at El Morro.

Amazing view, comfortable room, nice pool with view of the bay and the town.

Lack of restaurant and/or bar. Normally, this is one something I’d mention, but in this case, the restaurant is so far from other options (and about 200 stairs on a poorly maintained starway through dense vegetation). They already have a perfect space and setup for a bar/restaurant.

The view is spectacular, and I spent a lot of time just looking out! The pool is well maintained and allows for several people to get together and talk. The view and room of #11 is incredible...we loved it.

Toilet leaked in pool house but other than that we had, and I had, a terrific stay.

the view is fantastic and the flowers that the maids put out every day were so beautiful and creative. they made every day even more special

we had no hot water in the kitchen. left the water running for 32 min once and still no hot water. the bathroom and shower were fine.

proximity to town

no restaurant and was not told that when booking. I had stayed there 2 other times and there was a restaurant. would have been nice to no. And travelling as a solo paying full price and more than previous years.
