Ocean Riviera Paradise All Inclusive

Very spacious resort. There was something for everyone.

The property was fine but the biggest issue was a natural phenomenon, seaweed. It was a great pity that we couldn’t enjoy the beach and swim in the sea. The sea was brown and looked and smelt disgusting. We had to pay for a couple of trips to go elsewhere to enjoy the beach. The local people confirmed the seaweed issues stretched from the top of Cancun right down the Riviera Maya and lasts from June to October every year. Even though we had to pay to enjoy another beach location on the Maya the seaweed was considerably reduced so you could enjoy the sea. Otherwise the hotel and resort was fantastic.

Clean, good service, fast check in, nice staff

I didn’t like that there is no division in the different levels you pay for. Everyone could use our “privilege” pool, premium drinks, bars etc. It didn’t feel worth it to pay for the privilege if other people who don’t pay for it can use it as they please. I hope this will be resolved some day. That’s why I give it a 8 instead of a 10

Good food variety; good service in restaurants. Overall friendly professional staff, everywhere.

The Buffet Hours are until 10.30 p.m. I went there yesterday at 9.30 and many food items were finished, unfilled/replaced. I did not have a good final night dinner.

beautiful, the buildings weren’t huge and plenty of pools. lots of fun activities all day and night. adults need a night club too, seems to be all kids lol.

restaurants weren’t always open and no good snack bars at pools, it would be nice to have that option to have lunch poolside with a burger and tacos, chips & salsa, guacamole - it’s Mexico!! food in general was decent, a lot of the same stuff at each restaurant.

Unbelievable! very attentive staff and great selection of restaurants/bars, there is even carts on the main strip of the resort that have cocktails! staff always very friendly, l

I booked my trip day by day so three days in total. all 3 days the queue at reception was insane, check in process is slow and the wait is unbearable. on the first two nights they tried to charge me more than the booking.com amount but fixed it up both times. they really need more staff or a faster process for check in. if you are an exclusive guest you will be checked in straight away though.

The property has a lot of dining options only one restaurant you need to make a reservation for and it is kind of hard to get one, but the food options are pretty good everything is average but some of the food items are a real gem. Not all restaurants are open everyday so you will need to check online. The ac was working well in my room the two weeks I stayed. The property is a decent sized it is totally walkable but there is a trolly that goes around the resort to take guest from one end to the other but it does come like every 15-20mins it’s honestly easier to just walk. The service was great and the staff was always very kind and friendly. One of the best resorts I stayed in that cared about food allergies and cleaned every day and were great with implementing Covid Safty.

Our room was not cleaned properly, the "jackuzzi" was dirty.

Really nice resort !was backpacking and stopped off for one night in luxury! Suited for couples, Families etc... Definitely recommend the Japanese restaurant, really nice but book in advance, basic water sports included which is great and drink stands/bars almost every 5 minutes while walking around, the beach at the end of the resort is also really nice which has a pool right beside it 100% recomend

One thing that really angered me was the wait at reception, very slow process,Also the price I booked online was different to that of the hotels system so I was told to wait and come back in a few minutes while they sorted it out which they did but just very very slow check-in process The shop inside the resort is so expensive! Water and a chocolate bar cost me almost 11 USD Location , its a bit far our from main Playa but the resort has everything you need

The location was good. Nightlife was good as well. The best restaurant is the Steakhouse. Mike's coffee is a nice touch as well.

The front lobby was understaffed. The pools are not heated.

Rooms are great, pools are a big plus.

Missed some good bars to have drinks. Only one in the lobby. So not many places to go and have a drink unless you have during the dinner in one of the restaurants. Entertainment was poor and not much happening. And maybe to have shuttle but to go more often back and forth. Stayed in building number 4 so takes forever to go back and forth.
