We are quiet people and we enjoyed being away from the hustle and noise of the city. The beach is not the cleanest, but it is beautifully secluded. Breakfast was outstanding and biking five minutes to Puerto Morelos was fun. The hammocks were great for hanging out! The bonus was having Playa Jaguar Restaurant open next door for lovely outdoor dining.

The location on the beach is ideal and the do-it-yourself breakfast was excellent. The staff was great and rooms clean. We weren't crazy about the swinging beds, but the staff gladly set the bed on solid ground for us. The vibe is more B&B than hotel, so there's opportunities to mingle with the guests. Seems like a place that people make return visits to.

The location is a plus and minus - kind of out of town and hard to find the first time. You really need a car or bike (or taxi) to get into town. There is a small beach in front of the property but its not a great beach for walking along or swimming - go into town for that. Good beach for sunbathing and looking at the water. The place looks like it has transitioned from a hotel to more of a B&B type operation, so be aware it's not a full-service hotel.

The breakfast was great. Lots to choose from . The area was lovely and quiet and relaxing . The hammocks on the balcony were brilliant . We had bottled water in our room throughout the stay which was great.

There was a industrial type jetty in the bay just left of the property which was ugly . I didn’t expect this , it wasn’t in lovely photos on the website . There was a lot of sargassum seaweed all over the beach which did spoil things as we couldn’t swim To be fair this wasn’t the hotels fault - it was all over the coast line . But the authorities were no making any attempts to clear it. It was expensive to get to the property from the airport , no other choice than to use a taxi ,

This is a lovely little hotel...loved the room and view from the second floor....this was a quiet & pretty place which was a nice change from the tourist strip...also its close to the airport and a great place to start or stop your trip. But what I liked ultimately was the relaxed energy that is rare to find between cancun and tulum

I loved the place but food can be an issue...they do a lovely breakfast here, but after that you're on your own...if you have a car, no problem....if not there is one restaurant next door that is good, though a little expense....if you bring in your own food they have a full kitchen to cook it in.

The room was very comfortable, bed great, AC and fan worked well, quiet location so great for sleeping.

There has been very little upkeep on the general guests areas, you can tell little investment in the social spaces or to make it more comfortable or modern. Lots of broken chairs etc in the area with the best views of the water and the best breeze.

Room was wonderful and spacious. Nice to have hammocks. Beautiful space to relax. Breakfast was pleasant eating out facing the water. Good coffee and delicious fruit. Peaceful and quiet.

Need to travel to another beach in town in order to go swimming. About a 15 minute walk to the town so it helps if you have a car or you need to use taxis, given how hot it gets during the day.

Lovely place on the water with a superb view. Cute rooms with swinging bad (a bit weird to get used to but they can lower it to the floor if you want). Breakfast was a nice spread and could make your own omelets and sit staring out at the water. Communal palapa was very nice with sand floor and swing in the middle. Staff was very helpful and helped us find a great dive shop that was very reasonably priced to take us diving in Puerto Morelos and the cenotes. Overall a lovely stay.

It is a bit out of the way down a dirt road so you do need a car or to borrow one of their bikes, but biking back in the dark along the pocked marked road was a bit dangerous. If you want to be right on a quiet section of beach then this is a great choice. Otherwise if you want a bit more energy/hub bub easy to stay in town and just go to the beach by town and lie out at one of the many beach clubs.

When we arrived it felt a little strange, we were shown around and things were explained to us. We thought we made a mistake with distance from town. We had a great room with the ocean view (watched the sunrise from bed) two hammocks on our patio. There were bikes to use and town was 5 minutes away so that took care of that issue. Breakfast was wonderful, we cooked our own eggs and all the fruit and pastries were cut and available. Coffee and tea. There are fridges that you can put your drinks or food so you can cook or drink when you want. A great atmosphere, calming and relaxing. Kind people coming and going. No night life but it’s a short bike ride or a cab if you want to stay out later. A responsible place that recycles and composts. Very helpful staff. Also a security guard sets up at night for added comfort.

Maybe some cheese for breakfast but I could have bought my own.

Beautiful and peaceful location on the beach. It was so lovely to have breakfast by the sea and lie on hammocks on our own balcony. The breakfast was suberb. The personnel was friedly. No mosquitos or other insects!

You could not swim in the sea because of the rocks and not walk to the center on the beach but the center and its beaches were quite easily accessible by foot or bicycle.
