Gran Hotel Concordia San Luis Potosi

This is a fine hotel - was very nice for the price. My husband and I were impressed with everything especially the breakfast. There were so many options on the buffet and it changed everyday. The reception staff were very nice and efficient. Beds were super comfortable and the TV channels were extensive and good.

This is NOT a complaint just a joke on us Americans .... The bathrobes could have been bigger!!!

in old historic center of san luis potosi where there is activity and entertainment just steps outside the front door. very nice mexican buffet for breakfast with a good assortment of food. great staff. we walked out the door and in next square found a wonderful restaurant, La Posada del Virrey where all our choices were outstanding. parking is across from the hotel,

breakfast opened a little late, 8am, for those of us who want to get on the road early. would have been nice if coffee could be available downstairs at 7 am, while we wait for breakfast. Many hotels around the world at least have coffee available early.

Good buffet breakfast. Superb location, yet the room was very quiet. The restaurant is within 20 metres of the cathedral. Very nice room and very comfortable king-size (?) bed. Room can be controlled via one's Smartphone. Each room has its own router to enable the control. The room has Bose speakers. Bathroom OK, but not as nice as the room. It has an excellent illuminated shaving mirror, with one side magnifying, to see all my wrinkles, faults and flaws up close and brightly lit. :)

No knives provided at breakfast. One light was called a "courtesy light" and you are not able to turn it off. Although, you can turn down the brightness via a switch that says "Do not touch." No main light in the room - there was insufficient light.

The location right in the centre. Old building, but updated and renovated to a good standard. Comfortable bed. Nice decorations, good barhroom though small. Overall a food value.

Quite noisy during the hours before midnight, especially in rooms facing the street. The so called intelligent system with light preferences is tricky to wrap your head around during a short stay.

Breakfast was the usual buffet selection with excellent service from the staff very attentive. New modern hotel central to many tourist attractions and shops. Housekeeping was good and efficient. Bottled water for the room every day was a bonus.

There seems to be a problem with the drains in the showers - an unpleasant odor.

-good responsive staff - door latch got stuck and they were on it right away -well located - block away from main plaza -excellent breakfast -nice walking around town -nice friendly people -great food - restaurants -bike rental available - get there early

-separate parking fee - that was not clear when reserving - but OK

Hotel located in the heart of the old Town and the room was spacious and comfortable with central view. The only comment I would make is that from the photos I got the impression that there is a terrace at the hotel which would be nice to chill out, but I found out that the photos of the terrace belong to some suites so I think the photos are misleading. No problem though, there was a nice lounge with great terrace and great music a few blocks from the hotel.

This is our second stay and our “go to” place staying in el centró for events. We live in San Luis Potosí but when large events are going on we enjoy the convenience of staying in the area. The hotel has comfortable rooms, good and friendly staff and a very good breakfast.

The location was ideal. The restaurant served very good breakfasts. The staff was extremely helpful and efficient especially housekeeping, Miriam (at reception, who, in addition to calling taxis, etc. arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel) and Miguel (who solved a plumbing problem in my room).

Awesome safe location in historic district. My 2nd time staying and staff was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I arrived late (1130pm), due to a delayed layover and was disappointed that café located on premises was closed.
