Upon arrival I payed for the 3 days as requested, then due to a family emergency I needed to leave after the second night and asked for a refund which was denied......... really poor customer service of the business

Great staff, lots of attention to detail. Nicest common washroom anywhere we have travelled in Mexico. Food was reasonably priced and tasty. Great service from all staff including manager who took time to chat with us in the restaurant.Front desk staff were very patient with our terrible Spanish. Grounds were absolutely gorgeous.

Regular coffee maker would be nice in room.

Beautiful, clean, impeccably kept hotel and grounds. Great staff, very accommodating and so polite. The suite was lovely, the food and service was excellent.

There was nothing we didn't like. This is my 2nd stay at Layfer in Córdoba Veracruz and I would stay here again. I highly recommend it.

This is a first rate hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The facilities are excellent - pleasant garden, reasonable size swimming pool, convenient garage for parking the car. The breakfast was excellent. While I did not eat dinner there what Isaw looked good.

Location was amazing for my visit. Room was very clean and the staff were very friendly !!!!

Being a non speaking Spanish invividual I wish the directional cards and instructions (place cards) in the room would have been printed in English also ... just a suggestion !!

Extremely tasteful, comfortable, clean and spacious apartment with full kitchen and two separate rooms. We loved it! The decor and common areas were beautiful, and the staff was great.

The only small negative is that it's far from the center (not really walking distance).

The hotel is the equivalent of a major chain hotel like a Holiday Inn Express or Fairfield Inn yet much cleaner and well cared for with substantially larger rooms. The location is very quiet apart from the occasional train (I love trains so it was a non issue for me). We arrived at 9:30 pm and had anticipated going out to find food; the receptionist mentioned the restaurant was open until 11pm. I was tired from having driven from Villahermosa and decided to simply try their restaurant. Much to our surprise the food was quite good and much better than I had expected and substantially better than any chain hotel. In fact, if I'm just passing through Cordoba, I would even stop here for a meal.

During times of covid, it would be much better to do away with items for sale in the room, like the basket of snacks or the bottle of water in the bathroom. While the prices were actually very reasonable (similar to a local Oxxo), I do not like the idea of having products that someone may have touched prior to our arrival in the room. For now, I would recommend keeping the items near reception or somewhere else convenient but not in the room.

Hotel felt safe, and clean. Nice view of the Pico de Orizaba. Very good breakfast, and nice attentive staff at the restaurant. Easy underground parking. Well kept inside garden.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful interior garden. Huge room with firm beds. Staff was good and had solid English, if needed. Secure underground parking makes it a great expat hotel. We love LAYFER hotels and this one is our favorite in Córdoba.

Everything was beautiful and the staff so nice and helpful also I’m a digital nomad and the internet was excellent for working.
