Hotel Marienplatz Podgorica

Good location right in the heart of the city, a couple of minutes' walk from the main square. It's in a lively area, so there's a lot of noise until after midnight. Didn't bother me though, I can sleep through anything. The hotel and the room have a fun and unique design. Breakfast is a la carte, very good.

Everything was good. The only thing is the bathroom is made for tall people, the mirror, the shower head (that is not adjustable), and the towel hanger are up high. Unfortunately, I'm not that tall. This was not a major inconvenience though.

Awesome place in the very center of Podgorica! Wonderful and helpful staff. They arranged a taxi from the airport for us (the driver was waiting with my surname written when we landed). Everyone speaks perfect English and was ready to answer all our questions. We had breakfast included and we could choose from impressive menu of tasty food and drinks every morning. Our room was very cute and clean, with a private bathroom, air conditioning and fridge. Every evening from 9 to 12 there is live music in the garden so you can enjoy it while having a beer and snack downstairs or listen to the music from your room 😀 Be careful: there are only a few rooms available upstairs so hurry up if you want to stay here :)

The hotel is located in the city centre, right at one of the most popular streets full of cafes restaurants. The breakfast (included) was amazing, but be prepared to receive a huge portion. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom really nice and clean. Also, the staff is amazing and very helpful: getting an invoice or a taxi to the airport was not a problem at all!

Thanks to other reviews, I was aware of the fact that the rooms are located just above a bar, so in the evening it's loud and you can smell the cigarettes. Also, there is (live) music coming from everywhere, even with closed windows you can heard it, but I didn't mind that much.

Really friendly staff, giving all sorts of advices and making my stay really comfortable. The room is clean and stylish. And the breakfast is so nice! It's an a la carte breakfast. And the waiters are really friendly and helpful. The fact of having a bar opening till very late also makes it very attractive. My room also had a terrace.

If you do not like noisy, I would kindly request a quiet room that is on the other side of the street. It was very loud outside since it is in the middle of the bar areas. Most people outside will stay up till 2am and you won't be able to sleep if you are sensitive to that.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of Podgorica and close to nice restaurants/a small supermarket. The staff are friendly and in particular the two receptionist staff I met (Ana and Nina) were helpful and friendly. In particular Ana went out of her way to help me with an issue I had in Podgorica, many thanks! The room was comfortable and I had a balcony which was lovely. The breakfast was nice - you can choose from a good menu. The hotel is above a bar and as such there are live music events there (and also at other establishments nearby). The hotel are very open about this and I was fine with the noise and the atmosphere however if you don't like noise then this might not be the place for you. I would happily return here, great room, value for money, good breakfast, friendly staff and a good location.

I didn't know before I arrived but the hotel is in a pedestrian only zone. The taxi which dropped me off dropped me a bit of a way away from the hotel- there are closer roads which the taxi could have used for drop-off so I would recommend if booking the taxi through the hotel to ask that they pick the closest drop off point. I struggled a little bit with carrying my baggage so would have appreciated walking less!

The hotel is very cool, gives a very young and trendy vibe. The room was big, bed comfy, very clean. I liked the decoration. There is a restaurant attached to it which serves pretty good food. The staff was very helpful. The location is great.

The air conditioning was right next to the bed, which makes it a bit strange because you cannot really sleep without it (when we were there we had 30 degrees at night in the city) but putting it on makes one cold really quick, regardless of how the settings are handled. For us this was the only issue we had.

The location was excellent for sightseeing - it was easy to walk around by foot to most of the centrally located tourist attractions. The breakfast was excellent! I was able to choose anything from their breakfast menu, all of which was delicious (and very hearty with large portion sizes).

Nothing - the hotel was great! If you're a light sleeper though, do keep in mind that there's a bar on the ground floor often with live music. I didn't have any trouble sleeping as the soundproofing was pretty good.

Well lets start chronologically Location/ in very center of the city, near pubs can't get any better then this Staff: Extraordinary. Marko& Gojko are a real host, kind, friendly and communication wise are top and the ones whom you should go to.. for any question whatsoever... Room:/ Brand new, cosy, warm, bed is new and medium hard while everything there looks and smells clean, strong Wi Fi.. small balcony overlooking main street, and cozy bathroom painted in yellow, oddly it was all, as per my personal choice... thus exceeding my expectation Breakfast:/ Marko surprised me with veggies omelet very delicious and done in special manner slice of bread underneath and lots of fresh veggies... the menu is rich, but I stick too coffe, eggs, and tea usually.. I will definitely return to at Marienplatz Podgorica

there is nothing to dislike regarding this hidden gem in Podgoroca!.. well maybe the advert indicating about the place, as it is below a fancy place /pub and that could be slighty misleading for guest first time there!

Breakfast is good! Big selection of locally adjusted meals, but IMHO its very personal taste. Location is at the central pedestrian area with lots of bars and cafes. I was laughing on the names of the rooms, just keep it not spoiler, also inside there is a neon slogan (which can be turned off). I definitely recommend the location for few days stay with such price/quality ratio.

when I came, i didn't find anybody at reception, so it was bit surprising to seek the staff, but these people are also working at the adjacent bar and very friendly!

Great location in centre of Podgorica. Very clean rooms and hotel, very good and helpfull staff. Also great food and drinks in the restoraunt. We also had live music on the night we stayed in the hotel. Good atmosphere and great space.

There is only one thing that is not very good, but it's not a big problem. Hotel doesn't have its own parking. You have to use public parking, it's about 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel, and it is not very expensive. The price is 0,4 or 0,5 euros per hour.
