Boutique Hotel de Valk

Very friendly owner, nice room, on request iron board and iron were brought up to the room. Sweets on the check in counter were a nice touch! We did not use the bar or restaurant, but it looked really nice, with loads of atmosphere. Location is very good, with lots of shops, restaurants and bars in the area, and close to connection roads.

Only thing we where not used to was that fresh towels came on request, and not based on a daily clean/check of the room (exchange of towels on the floor). This is not a problem, but it might be good to communicate it to the customer at arrival (or include it in the information in the room).

Location and town were AWESOME. Was able to walk to and from the venue we were focused on and other transportation was easily accessible.

The temp control in the room did not work. If you have a room facing the street, it is loud at night when bars/restaurants nearby let out. Pillows were awful- lumpy and oddly shaped. Odd hours for staff- they are VERY helpful when there but it is not consistent.

On arrival the reception as very welcoming and friendly . The room was very clean with everything you need & I loved the long comfortable bed. When I came down for breakfast I was surprised by the choice...I had a warm breakfast... but they have a good selection of other things.. and again very friendly staff... to be honest I really enjoyed my stay here!

Updated facilities, small property and in a quaint village with great atmosphere in the pubs, market and street. Typical small Dutch toilet/ bathroom, very clean.

View from our room 5, level one, was back of the hotel was the emergency exits.. not a big issue, but if you want views make sure you ask for a front facing room. Upmarket price, but I guess you pay for location convenience

a small hotel with character. warm atmosphere and interested personnel who gave good recommendations. the beds were comfortable and the rooms nicely decorated. breakfast was a feast!

the airconditioning would stop mysteriously after a few hours every time.

Over all very satisfied. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff great. The only thing was , at breakfast there was non of the English blend tea. It’s the only one I drink and I don’t like coffee.

This is a great hotel in a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. The staff were very helpful, supplying us with a kettle and an iron. There is also parking in front of the hotel at a reasonable price.

Very helpful staff and great breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable.

My brother enjoys a night cap and he was rather disappointed that the bar closed quite early.

Very nice service, polite stuff. Multilanguage service. Very nice design of hotel. Quiet location, but close to everywhere. pleasant location. Recommend!!!
