NH Zandvoort Hotel

When I came in, there was a problem. While my date was confirmed for March 27 to 28, the hotel got another month from Booking.com (check your interface please!). That was easily fixed, as I had proof of the confirmed dates. The room was more luxurious than I thought. There was a lot of room and more importantly, the bed was really comfortable. It was a very short stay, but it was comfortable. Also, this hotel is right next to the beach, so for those wanting to have a beach walk, you will enjoy this! I was way to tired after cycling 62km the day before, and 120km on the day itself when I checked in. ;) For those who go by car, the hotel has parking space, and it costs €15 a day if I remember correctly, which is a lot less than parking in the city itself (right next to it). I went by bike, and they have a place to stall the bikes, which is locked in the evening and opened in the morning.

I ate at the hotel restaurant. When it was time to pay I paid and got the receipt, not checking it until I got to my room, then finding out I paid the wrong receipt (and more than I was owed). It took over a month to get my money back, but I got it back and the staff was helpful. As I understood, the financial syncing between the restaurant and hotel isn't great, but at least it got solved.

The room was nice and spacious and overlooking the beach. We also had a nice bathtub which we enjoyed. The location was right on the beach which was awesome!.

Parking was unfortunately full when we got there, so we had to park a little further down the road. During the day this is fine but at night there is no lighting or street lights whatsoever so you can barely see where you are walking and it's a bit in the middle of nowhere so feels unsafe too. This wasn't a nice experience.

location - in the front line of the Zaandwoort beach - two minutes from the promenade. personnel was very friendly. sauna facility with a choice option of 3 types of saunas is excellent even though one of the showers didn’t work.

we have booked a twin room with an additional bed for a child. but there was no linen for the third bed. we have discovered this late as returned to the hotel after a late dinner. after calling the reception we did not get it.

The staff were nice. The room was huge (more than enough for 3 beds and a cot (that we carried ourselves). The hotel is just in front of the beach. They had a nice detail with the kids (a bath bag with shampoo, lotion etc for kids)

The shower was hot-cold-hot-cold-hot-cold. The bed linen was too small for the bed (but maybe this a cultural thing, this has been the case in the past also in Germany).

I traveled with my dog and found it very attentive that there was a doggy bed and a big water bowl already waiting in the room.

I would just like to leave a suggestion, really. When reordering items like coffee creamer and so on via the stay-app, I thought it would just be refilled when housekeeping comes round anyway. I was surprised to be contacted by the front desk at what time I would request the reordered items. If there's a time frame to be specified, please state it in the app, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

We were elected as guest of the Day. The lady at the front desk, (German) was very friendly and helpful. I wish everyone would be as her at front desks.

The parking place was expensive. I don't think that is very guest friendly. €14.50 per night is a lot. Normally this is free, if you have to charge, make it than €5 or so. And make it clear at the booking!

We have been to Zandfoort an Zee many times the area where the hotel is is just perfect to get from the station to the shopping and restaurants. Great wake for a short trip. Would stay longer.

The service was on point, friendly, quick and give good advice. Breakfast was a good variaty of cooked and raw vegetables, eggs and bacon bread, sweet roles and a good selection of fruit and fruitjuices, hot and warm drink. The coffy / tea machine makes a nice capppchino.

Liked breakfast and views. Staff was friendly and buffet was really good because of the variation of food. Also my collega got fresh made eggs in his choice. Parking lot should be in price included - it's again quite some additional money what you dont even pay in Amsterdam Schipol...

Price and condition is not on place - it needs te be restaurated already - some rooms are quite old.. also furniture. It's not what i expected for this price actually.

Location is good. Next to the ocean and not far from the city center where most restaurants are. Close to the race track which is cool to see.

Shower bath only has half door. No laundry facilities.

The location of the hotel is perfect and right across from the beach! The hotel bar had great drinks and the staff was very courteous. The parking lot was full, but there was another lot across the street which was very convenient.

Check-in was slow as there were not a lot of front desk workers available. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again!
