We chose Capital because of close proximity to Convention Centre. Room was clean, quiet and bed was comfortable. Free parking was great and short walk to main spots in South Brisbane. We would stay here again.

Had access to main carpark once checked in but only room for a few cars in front of apartments to quickly park, run in to check in then drive around the block because access to underground carpark is in driveway before short term park. We arrived early but it was still busy with many people checking in and parking at the same time. It’s a very busy street so just something to be mindful of.

Fantastic location. Just a 5 minute walk away from the cruise dock with smooth flat pavement that makes it easy to bring your roller bags along. Queen street is the main street, with a lot of shops. We were allowed to check in early. Very friendly and helpful staff (Ash) answered all our questions, provided directions to a grocery store (just 2 minutes away on Queen) and booked a cab for us to the airport. Great washer and dryer.

We only have a few minor things we did not like. A few extra power outlets next to the table for charging laptops would be useful (we had brought our own power-strips and NZ to US plug and USB adapters, so no real issue for us). We found the trash can to be a bit small. The couch was sagging in the center. A light on the table in the corner (between the couch and the chair), one that ideally would be dimmable, would have been great as the spot-lights in the ceiling are a bit too bright and white.

This was my 1st stay with QoQ. The room was great even though the balcony is facing another building. There was a 2-seater sofa which I appreciate as I wasn't travelling alone. The dryer and washer were in the bathroom. Only one washing liquid was provided which is fine cause the supermarket is close by. The location was superb, especially since I relied on public transportation a lot. The kitchen facilities worked, I thought the 1st room had the cleanest pots. I think this room was perfect for a long term stay where you would want to cook for yourself and do your clothes washing. Bed was comfortable. Blacked out curtain. Wifi was fast, no problem with it. TV- you can connect your Netflix and other apps to it but I only used YouTube. No lag. The staff - at the reception and the housekeepers were great. I arrived before check in time, and from the airport and being able to go straight to my room after a long flight was really appreciated. I loved my stay that I came back again after my trip out of the city.

Nothing specific for the 1st room/stay I had. Noise is to be expected considering the location of the hotel.

Location was extremely convenient. Close to all your luxury brands- 10-15min walk to the cinemas. Very close all all public transport- buses/trains. If you want to be smack bang in the city and is happy to cough up the amount for location- highly recommend. Plenty of good coffee shops, restaurants and eatery. Does have your standard/minimal cooking items- pots/pans etc... Clean enough not to complain Easy check-in- Just look for the door/sign that is next to Gucci and LV

Parking was not a MAJOR issue however was a little inconvenient even though the walk to the Wilson parking was only 5-7mins, lugging bags maybe annoying. Parking closes at 10pm so getting out can be an issue- easily resolved by calling the number provided. The room wifi had good signal strength in the living/lounge area but when you start using the wifi inside the bedroom- the signal is shocking. Noise COULD be an issue on the weekend, especially being on a the main street.

The room was spacious, clean, room to sit. The kitchen had the basic necessities. We had a couple of questions and the staff came up promptly and helped us. The bed and seating was comfortable. The location was great.

When we were ready to leave with our luggage we asked reception to call us a cab. We were only going a short distance to meet fellow travellers. We were told that we had to have prebooked a cab. We asked them to check with a cab company that had brought us there ( unbooked). She called but they wanted a ridiculous amount to take us a few blocks. She suggested we walk down to the taxi cab stand and get a cab from there. I had hurt my back that morning so couldn't drag my luggage down the street. My friend had to go do that, get a cab and then come back to the hotel to get our luggage. Training with staff seemed needed to know who to call.

location

I stayed pre Covid but since then it has become very tired and needs some renovations I booked months ago and was given an extremely smelly room with the balcony overlooking air conditioners and business roofs. I asked for another room and this was granted. Had previously had a balcony overlooking Queen Street. the reason I chose Quest was for location, balcony, and washing machine and kitchen facilities. the washing machine didn’t work. the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes properly. the door to balcony extremely difficult to open. the iron had seen better days. the hairdryer had the nozzle missing and was damaged. this was exchanged. the housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. the receptionist was friendly and it was obvious she was snowed under and did her best.

perfect location for our needs, plenty of shops and food places in walking distance to the motel, room was a perfect size for us. a little kitchenette to prepare quick meals, microwave was great. Really comfortable, noise level was ok.

Although the place was perfect location, it wasn't well sign posted, so we walked past it several times, There was no where for the shuttle to stop and let us out safely, so they had to drop us in a different location so we could walk there, although it wasn't a long walk, it could be a problem if you have excess luggage

Location, Located, Location!!!! The apartment was spacious with washer & dryer in each unit. Step out of the complex and you’re right in the middle of the city. Great location for shopping and walking around. I was worried with all the reviews mentioning “the noise”. The complex is on a busy city street so some noise is to be expected.

Wish there were screens on the windows and slider to enjoy some fresh air. Parking was off site (a quick 3 min walk) for $40 a night.

Me and my fiancé loved the room really cozy. We had a small taste of what city live would be before we went on our holiday. The staff at reception on our arrival was really helpful really friendly & professional what we absolutely loved we were just not just another client they made us feel welcome

When me and my fiancé walked into the apartment stank. Someone used the toilet and didn’t flush so we had to deal with it… it wasn’t pleasant to walk into the apartment and that’s the first thing you smell

Close to most restaurants, shopping, viaduct, bars, clubs and tourist attractions. Most within walking distance so car not needed. Location is just perfect to use as a base if you have a function, event or concert to attend in Auckland city.

Very basic facilities for the price, room I stayed in didn't have a comfy couch. We brought a car, no free parking available, parking was expensive and a little too far from the apartments. Also late checkout is 11am, and you cant pay to extend it so we had to pay for a full night's tariff to sleep late after a big night out.
