101 Stars Motel

The owner (I assume) was very welcoming, friendly as, no fuss and bonus upgrade due to the room selected no longer available but that was awesome...would have been happy either way.... Excellent location, nice quiet room, other than emergency vehicles amboz, fenz, police going past, it is a city, so it's to be expected. Comfy beds tidy rooms and amenities. Very happy and will be staying again next time in Christchurch due to "no fuss" booking, or access to rooms it's excellence on the street corner!!!! Thankyou so much.

pretty faultless to be honest..I mean seriously...

Location was great close to everything malls, shops and food places in a cental location. Satff were amazing and very helpful, one of my children had a bleeding nose in thr night (i washed the duvet by hand to prevent staining) but this was not a issue and they were more conerned about my son then the bloodied duvet and cover very considerate and nothing was a problem. Friendly and accomadating. Was not charged extra for the duvet to be cleaned. Motel had washing facilities tand powder was supplied but paid $4 a load very convenient when you have children to be able to wash clothes.

The rooms were well thought out and the accomodation seemed not very old (modern bathroom). Everything was very clean and warm. The staff was very welcoming. The room was surprisingly quiet even though we were right at a very busy street and the wifi worked great. We couldn't hear any of our neighbours even though the motel was booked out.

A reading light on the bedside table would be nice rather than only a ceiling light in the bedroom. The kitchen was missing some plates and cutlery but in the end it wasn't important to us since we used the bowls and if I had mentioned it to the staff I'm sure we would have received more immediately.

Everything. As my travel and flight plans had unfortunately changed to do unforseen personal circumstances, I was looking for last-minute accommodation, and I've always stayed at 101 where available. And they had 1 room left!!! I snapped that up and they went over and above to make me feel relaxed, they are always up for a chat, genuinely always friendly, always have a smile and are an absolute pleasure to stay with. I can't thank you enough, grateful to you both... Approx 15min drive to airport brilliant location to everything... Thankyou once again Karla ☺️

The owner and staff were super friendly. Units were immaculate, beds were incredibly comfortable, and units were well stocked on arrival. The whole facility was very quiet, given the location. 7-minute drive to countdown and Westgate Mall. 5min walk to the warehouse. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in Christchurch. Thank you

Not a big issue, but we experienced intermittent wifi during our 4 night stay.

When we travel, we generally pick simple places that meet the following criteria - clean, good hot water supply, good wifi, the option to make tea and a basic breakfast in the morning, and ideally quiet. This motel met all of those! It was close to a busy road, but our bedroom was towards the back of the motel, so any traffic noises were minimal to none. Public transportation was either a 30-second walk or a 10- minute walk depending on which bus you need. Couldn't have asked for more!

Nothing - everything was great!

The motel is clean, child friendly, it provided television & b wifi and basic needs for a family room.

We were asked to do laundry on a later time because they will use it to wash the linens of those who checked out, we have no worries about it, they politely asked however for better customer service it would be great to do it not on the laundry hours for guest as most guest may have limited time. And also, it will be nice to have a lock on toilets to have a little privacy. Aside from what mentioned, it was a wonderful stay.

Nice and easy reception welcome. Staff friendly. Unit was clean. Nice that they provided washing up dish cloth and scrubber. Enough utensils. Best thing was that the bed was lovely and snuggly. I liked the heater blanket, and appreciated the heat pump.

There was plenty of small soap shower bars, I would have liked some shampoo packs as l have long hair and had arrived from Europe after 2.5 days flying. (Its not a complaint because everything was nice, but it would have just made things perfect.

great service and good location of the property. I sincerely want to thank Emily for her exceptional service. we landed at midnight and I requested some extra milk for my 2yr old as the shops won’t be open at midnight and my kid won’t be able to sleep without milk. Emily organise keys for us to pick up so late and also a bottle of milk. I didn’t got to meet her but Thankyou Emily. highly recommend

property is a bit old so some wear and tear

Location was perfect, room was beautiful and clean, bed was amazing, highly reccomend

The room was a bit noisy with traffic however didnt take long to get used to. Telephone had no cord was only the handset this for some people could be a life changing issue if there was to be an emergancy
