The owner is THE BEST! Super Fiendly, easy to chat with and is extremely accommodating - easy 10/10! We were up for a Family Christmas in Wellsford and decided to book Castle Court Christmas day. We arrived and the Owner was cheerful. Easy parking and entry into the rooms. It felt safe and was so peacefully quiet. We were accommodated with no hassles at all. We were very grateful for the Hospitality. Rooms 4, 7 and 9 were all very very well maintained and clean. I had the BEST SLEEP in room 4 king bed, my son and daughter in law also enjoyed their sleep in Room 9. THANK YOU and all the best for 2024. We will be back. 😊

Nothing, nada. Its a great place to stay.

Staff were friendly , helpful and welcoming. Room had all we needed and we really appreciated the fan! The rooms had gone through some renovation recently with new carpet etc. Nice to have the option of a coffee plunger too. Although we did not have a deck other members of our group had the newer units which had a lovely large deck, great place to sit on the warm evenings.

AS the curtains were quite a light material the room was not quite as dark at night as we usually like.

Large comfortable room with rural views. Good Wifi, which is a must. Room clean and good basic kitchenette.. Easy parking outside door. Welcoming proprietor. Close to start of Highway 16 so we could skirt around Auckland

On main highway though rooms are set far enough back that the highway noise wasn't too noticeable. Had one or two mosquitos inside even though doors only open a short time.

Friendly staff who were accommodating and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Great communication when I had some questions leading up to the stay. There also was a friendly duck which is an unexpected bonus.

While the room was nice, perhaps some fans in the room wouldn't go amiss during the summer months.

Lovely staff, very private, very quiet, handy location, clean and spacious. Was the only accommodation available between Mangawhai and Orewa and I'm grateful for the opportunity to stay, not our usual accommodation, however, genuinely lovely stay.

No complaints, it's not even noisy considering the location, there's even a wee park. Couldn't find the spa though.

Amazing host!!!! Very thoughtful, especially since we arrived well after the check in due time. Thank goodness to Rugby.....lol Was lovely to have a chat before we left about the cyclone and how their town was affected. Definitely a friendly person who takes pride in delivering a service that went well and above what we expected. Thank you so much 💓

Was a last minute booking as we were still up north and was too late to drive home so a quick stay over, the staff were nice nice, it was close to wellsford centre.

Probably wouldn't stay again just purely cause there isn't much to do around unless you venture out. And the bed was extremely hard, I prefer soft so had a pretty average sleep and got a sore back

Location and size of rooms was terrific.

Walls and behind toilet door could do with a clean or repaint as they looked dirty. TV reception wasn't the best - couldn't get TV1 in the lounge. Would have been great to have chrome cast so we could just watch what we wanted.

Everything was clean and tidy. Very roomy. Value for money. Would definitely go again. Only a short drive to town centre. Pizza was excellent for tea as late arrival to motel.

Leaving! Could have easily relaxed there a few more days had time permitted. Remove the photo with shadows, take new photos to make the place look warm and inviting, not the damp dark look you have now. It is way better than the photo.😊

Really comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, large unit. Great kitchenette, and a good shower. Nothing was too much trouble, including rearranging the lounge area for me so it was suitable for the meeting I was hosting. Excellent service.
