Very nice, helpful and polite staff, genuinely trying to understand my very poor Spanish. Tasty Italian style food in the restaurant. Very nice breakfast with many choices. Nice pool and stunning view over the jungle to the sea. Beautiful sunset. Found a nice forest route for walking nearby, though finding it was a bit tricky.
My room (#1) was small and dark, but I guess it is the only one. (I booked late.) Nice and roomy shower, though. The road to the hotel was in very bad condition, taking 15~20 minutes and USD $15-20 by taxi.

We loved this place & even extended our stay and would not leave if Nicaragua hadn’t so many other beautiful places to offer. Breathtaking view, lovely hosts, authentic and tasty breakfast, clean rooms (white, stainless & fresh bedsheets and towels), refreshing pool, hot showers, a/c, peaceful & tranquil (no noises from cars, bars etc.) surrounded by nature. Basically anything you could wish for. They even have a Happy Hour for cocktails 🍹 A car comes in handy as it is secluded (hilltop 2km from San Juan del sur) but we managed well with hitchhiking during the day and cabs at night. We would always choose this place again over the stays in town - the view and everything else is definitely worth it! Thank you for an amazing stay

The view and the food was exceptional! The staff was really polite, the pool amazing... In general, we had an amazing time there!! Definitely recommend!
Maybe they could paint the front walls, the ones surrounding the parking lot, that is the first thing we see, and it was peeled and gray, not like the building ones

The hotel staff, clifftop views of the gorgeous coastline, sunsets and delicious food at the hotel all made this a very memorable stay. I worked remotely and was very satisfied with the wifi. My room was quite basic but clean and comfortable with good A/C.

very beautiful place, the view and the very pleasant attention, my family really enjoyed the stay in El Jardin the breakfast and the food, everything inside the hotel was a nice experience
need a bigger sign at the entrance , it is very easy to get lost if you travel at night , the entrance road needs more work because it is in very bad condition ... apart from this there are no complaints...

We booked what was available through Booking, and the room didn't have a balcony. We had to request another room. Good thing they had it but a slightly higher rate.

The staff was excellent. Very gracious and helpful. I even had a small problem with my car and they found me a mechanic who came to the hotel and fixed my car on the spot. The food was great and the views are exquisite. Loved the pool. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel off the beaten path!

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful spot away from the bustle of San Juan del Sur. Lovely, comfortable room with the most amazing view. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Wish I could have stayed longer, I hope to return soon.
