Malapascua Exotic Island Dive Resort

The rooms were probably the most luxurious you will get on the island but some upstanding of shower units would be helpful. The staff were so friendly and helpful (except a little slow at times) Chef Marco always helpful and would try to knock me up something with what he had-was surprised with the lack of Seafood but seems to be clash between the ethics of the Dive centre and the Restaurant an odd Crab or Lobster etc would have been nice. Chris the Dive Manager (Hotel Manager ???) is as Mad as a March Hare and on the surface seems so laid-back that he seems comatosed but the Dive team are great and very professional. would be a Great team to learn to Dive as Chris is a Great Instructor . Some how I got persuaded to take the Nitrox cause was worth it when finally seeing the Thresher sharks-worth the travelling half around the world for the experience

The food on the videos looked great but most of the time things not available same goes for drink (coke kept on running out) You expect a lot of mosquitos in the Tropics but the restaurant was also infested with Ants and Sandflies my ankles a legs bear the scares.

The entire staff..dining and dive shop crew went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an enjoyable experience and our safety was ensured while diving . Special shout to Mr Julius (Dive master), Mr Fredrick ( Dive master in training), Mr Benji (Boat captain) and the Restaurant staff, Ms Edline, Ms Neza, Ms Jackie ,Ms Aileen, Mr Armin and Mr Franz. You guys made the holiday a 5 star experience !!!!!

Very clean. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and nice, shoutout to Jolina from the reception. She truly made our staycation a great experience throughout because of her friendliness, her smile, very accommodating and helpful same as the masseuse Susan, her expertise in her work helped me walking around with out discomfort..

It’s not the property but the boat ride that terrifies me however the staffs are so helpful and truly protective and understanding.

we all noticed that most of the staff were not very friendly and the kitchen/ waiting staff almost never came to check on us, we’re not attentive and again we’re not friendly. the one exception was the waiter Arman, he was nice and didn’t make us feel like we were just a bother to deal with, like the others did. the receptionists though we’re good and friendly and very helpful. when renting snorkeling gear, the staff there were mostly not friendly and I felt like I was annoying them by even asking for help. but all of that didn’t make our stay bad, it was a very nice stay.

The hotel is located in the only part of the beach, which is not used for parking boats. This ensures you beautiful sunrises. The rooms were very clean and nice. The massage was great! The food is delicious, and it is not expensive. The front reception are very helpful with everything. The staff are very friendly people, always with a smile. The place is quiet, very nice, and safe.

I didn't have a kettle in my room at first. If you ask for drinking water, they offer you to buy a gallon, but they just left it in my room, and for women, it was very heavy to install it.

I would like to thank everybody that made my stay so special, the receptionist and restaurant crew for being super friendly, kind and welcoming, all the divemasters that I had a chance to dive with for their professionalism and high knowledge of spotting macro etc, I have seen more things that I was expecting to see. Special thanks to Chris the dive center manager for his organization skills and for making my stay easy by organizing the dives, boat tours, courses etc and basically for being available 24/7. Of all the places that I visited, Malapascua Exotic Dive Resort is an exceptional. It feels like you belong to the Island, the locals are so nice, the staff are so helpful and accommodating. I found home away home and I will definitely be back and stayed a little longer... The whole Island is so safe to roam around and you will see the beauty of simplicity of their living. I am so so grateful for the highlight of our vacation, the experience to dive under water. For a person like me, who don't know how to swim and having fear of the water, it was a great accomplishment. I am also grateful of meeting Chris, our handsome, snob and masungit at times (hahaha) Dive Master for being so patient about me and for making me feel safe and assured while under the 7M depth of the water. Thank you for tolerating my clinginess while under the depth of the sea. HAHAHA Will definitely try it again.

The property was in the beach, staff are friendly, food is great 😊

Foods are little bit expensive. Property access from and to the port.

Breakfasts were excellent, as were most of the meals. Location on the island was good too. Staff were exceptionally good and eager to please us guests.

Internet service was not up to standards expected at a quality resort.

Good location great dive facilities good food at reasonable prices

beach front could do with more vigour in cleaning up plastic diving was expensive with extra charges to borrow a torch Wh I I felt was unnecessary as cost is already high.
