Mabini Hotel

centrally located - helpful staff - rented a bike from Mabini to explore the island - great facilities- pool - bar - made great pizzas which we had each night for dinner - highly recommended

We booked this last minute when the place we reserved turned out to be not to our liking. It's a lovely place with a very open feeling, nice design. The ground floor is more or less organized around the bar, with a nearby pool table, pool and restaurant seating. The room and the bathroom were both very nice. They have several WiFi networks, most of which seem to work best on the ground floor. Otherwise, they sort of come and go.

The lodge is in a residential neighborhood, just a short walk from "downtown" (where there are a few restaurants and a Jolibee's). Since it is residential, there is lots of local noise, such as roosters crowing, dogs barking, basketball tournaments and church bells calling to worship. Also, there is no lounging area around the pool - just seating for dining.

Very welcoming staff. On our last day, it was raining and they gave us plastic bags to cover our bags which were exposed behind our pickup truck. Restaurant served great pizza as well.

Our terrace suite's kitchen was non-functional but this could easily be overlooked because we did not need to cook.

Clean comfortable rooms, friendly and attentive staff. Great atmospher in the bar restaurant.Beer prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.The bar is the local drinking establishment for expats and has a very jovial feel about it.The pool is a welcome addition,clean,refreshing and shaded,great after a long day of travel or sightseeing.

The cable TV reception needs some attention but it's not a big deal.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, with some local choices and some western type foods. The salt water pool is very refreshing after being out all day.

The only thing they needed was more places to hang towels for drying.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating to our concerns. They've been very helpful and considerate, given the circumstances we faced before we came to the property. The hotel is also very clean and near our planned touring spots.

All of the staff were lovely, the food is amazing and the drinks are cheap. The pool table was a lot of fun. Also, it wasn't empty like a lot of other places. On the other hand it wasn't to busy!

The pool wasn't working, but wasn't the end of the world. The pillows didn't have any support - woke up with a stiff neck many times during the night. Pillows got changed and I slept like a baby.

The property is in good place, close to downtown. Close to various interesting tourist sites,

The only thing is roosters crowing but this is normal in the Philippines, especially on small islands

Pool currently renovated and can’t use.

The friendly staff they always go out of their way to make sure you have everything need the way u like it. From making your coffee the way you like it to preparing your meals to suit u.

There is nothing I didn’t like about this hotel and I have been in many around the world
