Hotel Sarmis

Even though it is an old hotel, it was very well equipped. (electric kettle, hairdryer, air-conditioning, mini fridge, nice wall mounted coat hanger, spacious wardrobe). Beautiful new furniture, comfortable chairs, nice nightstands. The balcony with a nice view is also a plus. We used the onsite parking option, it is very comfortable, it is right in front of the hotel, a bit small, but ok.

There were no glasses for us, only plastic cups, which is not eco-friendly. There was a mini fridge but there was no mini bar, the fridge was empty. The bathroom could use a little renovation, it was clean and had everything it needs. But small things here and there could be improved, for example the shower cabins doors were wobbling, the handle on the cabin doors were loose.

I stayed here to years in a row before and I was very satisfied; this time year similar price per room but this year smaller room and no mini fridge which I was looking forward to have- based on my previous experience...you have to pay for whatever is in the mini fridge anyways but I was looking forward for that cold beer after a long journey. So it was a bit disappointing, still it is a very good hotel, location, very good price/ value for money.

Breakfast was great, good and suffice, especially the scrambled eggs, as well coffee and tea... In other words great! The location is in the middle of Deva town and the site seeing are awesom oyu can se the Castle. The room very clean, as well the sheets, bathroom also clean with lots of towells. I recommend to everyone that wants to se this town to stay at this particular hotel.

There is no mini bar but there is a small fridge so it needs to be filled up with drinks. But I don't consider that to be a problem. It is not something to be mandatory

Great price for a comfortable bed. The TV in the room is a bit outdated, but otherwise everything is clean. I slept like a baby! Good location, close to main attractions and 15 minutes walking to the train station. The rooms have a small balcony and air conditioning.

There isn't any soundproofing between the bathroom and bedroom, so any little noise can be heard.

Good location, clean room, good breakfast and friendly staff. Breakfast on the restaurant’s terrace was very nice. Next time in Deva we’ll use the same hotel for sure.

There was an issue with the hot water the last evening we stayed there but it was solved before 11 o’clock that evening. The AC was not located good in the room-all the cold air was coming on the beds and it wasn’t comfortable to stay in bed while the AC was one.

I asked in advance for a vegan breakfast and they provided it for me and it was really nice (vegan pate, jam, apple, vegetables, vegetable spread zacusca, bread, tea).

There is no electricity socket close to the bed so I needed to charge my phone in the bathroom.

It is the second time I stay here, and once more it was very good value for money Rooms are a bit old but have all the comforts Breakfast is very nice and varied

Good Location, clean place.

Old socialist building. Brings out memories of the "golden" years (Ceasca Era).

Nice,.clean room with everything it needs. Small balcony and I had the view of the orthodox church.

Was in the reception area and there is no toilet. Actually there is one, it's just closed.
