Titano Suites

I can't imagine a more central location for the historic area of San Marino. It was steps from the central square, a very short walk from the partner parking area, and their restaurant and sister aperitivi bar were a wonderful place to pick your feet up.

If making reservation, I'd suggest requesting a room *above or away* from the restaurant; the only setback we experience was our room being immediately below the restaurant, so we could hear the chairs being moved pulled in and out of the tables late into the evening.

We liked everything: the welcoming and accommodating staff, including the lovely Moldavian gentlemen (sorry, I forgot the name) who helped us deliver our suitcases on our arrival and departure day. The modest, clean, and nice room, however. The concierge suggested An excellent restaurant for our dinner since we had yet to make a reservation at the Titano Hotel. The restaurant's name is La Fratta, with excellent options for dinner.

The air conditioner in the room made noise at night, which disturbed our rest

Perfectly located in the heart of San Marino, Titano Suites is an excellent hotel and the staff were VERY! friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and very close to all museums and Palazzo Pubblico and the Basilica of St Marino. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was excellent. We booked a room with a large terrace overlooking the town and had spectacular views sitting on our terrace with a glass of wine. You must get your passport stamped at the stamp and coin museum just steps away for 5 euros.

We actually booked two suites. They were different, yet both were very clean, comfortable and quiet. The temperature was high during our stay. There was a marked difference in the ability of the air conditioners in the two rooms. ... most probably because of the elevation difference as they were on different floors and facing different directions. This wouldn't prevent me from staying there again, but it would cause me to ask which rooms take less beating from the sun. We extended our stay an extra evening, which the hotel staff were very kind about helping with. They were pleasant with every encounter.

The breakfasts were more than adequate, though not fancy. The view from the balcony of one of our suites was absolutely amazing, directly overlooking a main historic square and the valley and mountains in the distance. The hotel is right in the heart of everything!

The air conditioner did not work well in one of our suites. Also, the signature restaurant was really not very good, which is hard to be in the area. The view was fantastic though.

1)They didn’t want to recognize my French ID card, delivered officially by the French gouvernement. 2)this hotel is located at the heart of the old town, so we can’t park the car nearby. we have to park the car in the parking outside of the old town and then transport the luggage by foot. when we arrived, there was no help by the hotel staff about it. I transported 2 big suitcases by myself and when we left too, any help for the luggage.

Loved the suite at the top with the terrace and hot tub. Helpful staff in reception.

Only slight downside was having to park our hire car a few hundred yards from the hotel. I have a mobility problem and this makes walking very difficult.

the location was excellent, we enjoyed being able to just pop in and out of the hotel in between walking around and seeing the sights. the facilities in the room were great, enjoyed the huge bath tub, and the breakfast provided excellent too. the staff were very friendly too.

The hotel's location was great and the terrace restaurant was brilliant. Very good food and incredible view. The family suit was very nice.

The AC unit in the room was incredibly loud. Understand they need to use packaged systems but the compressor clattering in and out made it impossible to have on at night.q

Excellent location of hotel. Very kind and helpful staff (reception, restaurant and during breakfast). Wonderful view from our hotel room - directly to the valley. Tidy rooms, large comfy bed, clean bathroom...
