It was nice. The food was good.

Looks like the room was arranged for one person although i booked for two people. There was only one bottle of water until I asked the staff that was passing about the other bottle of water. Also we could not make tea because sugar was for one person on our room.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment with the sea view and it was nothing short of amazing! The rooms were good sized for my family and the walls are sound proof which is great because a number of reviews complained about noise and we had not experienced any. The apartment comes with a fully furnished kitchen which helped store food in the fridge and we were able to make popcorn on their stove tops. The restaurant has good food and the place has a 24/7 room service!!! The cocktails from the bar were amazing and quite reasonable.

The first few days we had no towels as their laundry had was not working. And some plugs in the bedroom were not working. But honestly I cant complain about anything else.

The room, bed & facilities especially the swimming pool. The buffet breakfast was great, a lot of choice, fresh, well presented. Internet connection was great through the hotel

The bright light from outside shone into the bedroom through the bathroom. Was a bit difficult to sleep as so bright. Possibly could do with a blind? We had a lovely breakfast however no staff member came to our table to explain the buffet system or offer us hot drinks. We had to get up & ask what we needed to do & if we could order or get some coffee. We had checked in @ the front desk with a staff member who had ticked us off on her sheet but not follow through after this.

Big breakfast, scrumptious, generous, try and have omelette as many days as you can - its a favorite of many people. the staff are very respectful and offer excellent service. the view while you eat is to live for. I even had macon (beef bacon). try and include rye low GI bread. otherwise we are still talking about your breakfast.

The hyrax. I suppose we can't complain. they are residents, we are colonizers. its their territory. My wife was sneezing all the time. allergic to the hyrax. they are sweet and cute though.

The hotel is located on the beach. the room has a full view of the beach and river. we booked for one night, but enjoyed it so much we longer. access to the beach is via a private entrance from the hotel. The rooms are spacious, with lounge, full kitchen, bath and shower, main bedroom and another bedroom(with 2 beds), thus it could cater for a family of 4 or 5 people easily. the main bedroom and lounge have beach views. breakfast is between 6:30am and 10am. its a full menu, "all you can eat", think of something you could eat at breakfast and they have it, from bacon and eggs to yoghurt and fruit etc. For supper we had a beef burger which was huge and my wife had a veggie platter, we could not finish the food, the portions are large, so there is value for money here. There are 2 different menus, one for snack type platters and pizzas etc and the other a more traditional menu, with steaks, burgers, veggies and so on. the staff are friendly and helpful.

a tv in the bedroom would be nice.

Phumeza from Front Office was just exceptional from the moment we arrived. With a smile she immediately wished us a happy anniversary meaning she knew about our arrival in detail. Food was beautiful and very fresh and room service was on point. The private beach was such a marvel.

The one lady from front office was a bit un-accommodating for a moment we thought she was rude but Phumeza made us forget the brief encounter with her.

It's a beautiful location, Love the view, it's warm and the food was food was deliciious. I only had dinners. But the morning coffee was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly and professional.

I think R35 for a coffee was a little steep because I only had a small cup the 2nd morning but then the first morning I had two cups. But for just coffee it was quite steep. The stairway up to my room and cigarette butts for two days and I know that staff

Wifi is strong and generator was running for loadshedding - it was amazing not to feel loadshedding like the rest. Comfortable bedding and aircon gave had the best nights sleep. Early morining walk on the beach was relaxing. Kids enjoyed the pool. Room service was awesome. Staff super friendly and professional. Include the breakfast when you book - its so worth it.

Dstv was only limited channels not full dstv...but we mostly spent our time at the lovely beach and lagoon area.

Everything! The location, friendly staff, food in the restaurant was exceptional! Breakfast buffet was excellent. My apartment was clean and well equipped with almost everything.

No knives for chopping vegetables or meat. Please put knives in the kitchen, room C03 had only eating knives.

The staff was incredible, friendly and helpful. The rooms had all the essentials and were comfortable. Hotel rooms were modern and updated.

The apartments could do with some updating, particularly the lounge and maybe tiles in the rooms as well instead of carpet.
