Protea Hotel by Marriott Polokwane Landmark

This was my 4th visit to the hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A lot of comfort in the bedroom. I liked the way the room looked and how clean the room and the bathroom was. The location is excellent and very close to everything mainly close to the main access roads. We live in Burgersfort and was an attending cycling event in Mooketsi .It was very easy to come into the hotel from the R37 Burgersfort and exit the hotel via N1 bypass then R81 Mooketsi without going into Polokwane CBD. The breakfast was rich with many great options. Rooms big enough to accommodate myself, bags and bicycle. My bicycle did not sleep Outsite 😂😂😂

The hotel is perfectly located & we found it to be very convenient. The security & the housekeepers were very friendly The room was very clean

The receptionist who assisted me wasn't too friendly but she wasn't rude either. She just wasn't welcoming. I greeted her &she just gave me a very blank stare. The hair dryer in the room didn't work, it looked like it would explode please check them. At first it was a little hard to locate the hotel but we eventually found it. It would be great if parking bays can be allocated to rooms. We had no parking, we had to find space a little further from our room because others visitors occupied parking spots

Elizabeth at the reception made life easy for us, she provided excellent service. We arrived very early but she made our waiting time for checking a memorable one. The housekeeping lady especially the mama light in complexion forgot to get her name, she was too kind to us.

Nothing, everything was up yo standard. Maybe I could recommend starting breakfast earlier when having big groups.

The reception was very friendly, the room was clean and it even accommodate people traveling with kids. The T-bone ordered was so nice and juicy, we really enjoyed it. The breakfast was great and the service was excellent. It was our 3 year marriage anniversary and we enjoyed.

The pork ribs my Wife ordered were too salty and she couldn't eat them.😔

The service was excellent. The location was a little on the outskirts. Riding to the hotel at night meant using a rather dodgy route

The safe was malfunctioning. So I kept my gun in my coat. Somebody got to it and forgot to put the safety back on. That was dangerous

They didnt have WIFI. The staff gave us WIFI codes which didnt have network the whole time. the tea was cold during breakfast. we had to constantly request for towels, tea cups in our room. we were 4 in the room and all things were catered as if its for 2 guests. The room was so small for 4 guest.

Room was impeccably clean,bed & linen induced fitful sleep.There was strong hot water in the shower,table in the room was a good size.TV & aircone were working well.Breakfast was freshly made & good,especially potatoes,omlet and hot custard and gem filled pastry.Thank you! When coming from Polokwane southbound first circle UltraShell garage,then cross N1 to the opposite UltraShell garage & continue by side lane to the hotel.

Bath tube does not hold a water when filled above the crack.Carport had been lacerated and rain water filled the sail of our bakkie (it is OK,we took it home😊)-room110. Two swimming pools would be better than one😉

I did not include it in my booking intentionally, I was sastisfied with everything especially their young men receptionist with his very warm welcome and advices

I think it won't harm them financially if they can put microwave in the rooms

Please sort out the issue of payment through booking.com I coulnt pay through the site and you guys wanted to sell my rooms. I was very displeased with that!
