Emerald Resort & Casino

The entire process from booking to check in was brilliant. The self catered chalets have recently been upgraded and are very clean, neat and comfortable. We were thoroughly surprised to be surrounded by their game farm which borders the chalets. There are tame animals within close proximity. There are various accommodation options at the resort. There are various restaurant options as well at the Emerald Casino Resort.

Updated info on Booking.com site advising of the different facilities on site and on the resort property which is huge.

The resort was peaceful and tranquil until a few very noisy neighbors checked in. I loved that we were situated in the front but could still hear lots of noise late at night. Loved that everything was clean

The chalet was very comfortable but the shower in chalet 3 was not usable. The pressure was so high that the water stung. Emerald should consider free entrance to the Aquadome for River resort visitors during a certain time. It is very expensive if you spend 5 days at the dome for a family of 5. The half price discount should also be applicable for all River Resort visitors to make it more attractive because accommodation is quite expensive for just a resort pool and no other facilities.

Warm welcome from the Reception, the chalet was clean when we arrive,the kitchen well organized and the bedrooms were neat,the pools are well maintaied & clean.I loved the shuttle services

The security at the gate couldnt locate our Reservation from his register, it was a bit inconveniencing we were starting to panick & wonder what happened until we got help from the Reception The cleaning staff wasnt friendly at all, they dont greet & our room was not cleaned until lunch time, we had to report it at Reception,the soap holder in the shower needs to be replaced & if in future they can put towels according to the number of guests as it indicated that the Resort offers towels, otherwise we could have brought our own.... The couch is only for two people and we were four

The tranquility, the place is gorgeous. Wild animals walking freely around us,beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and professional.

The chalets needs an update and a bit of tlc especially the entrance, they should put pavements. And the furniture is old now needs to changed especially the lounge. Please be generous with the tea/coffee things they give to little for a group. The path going to the swimming pool looks too dangerous can it be cleared and paved it was muddy due to previous rainy weather.

I enjoyed the fact that every entertainment was inside the property and there is a lot to do. The other thing is there is a lovely shopping nearby.

The fact that chalet i got was a bit old the couch has to be replaced.

The Breakfast is really out of this world. The staff was suuuppper friendly. The complimentary Aquadome tickets added a nice touch. Shower water was always hot! Updated our room with fresh things daily. Coffee machine! The hotel and overall site is beautiful and refreshing. Again, the breakfast!! Incredible!

The hotel room is clean but the daily house-keeping ladies need to straighten out the beds a little bit more - pay more attention to detail. There's also always a weird smell after they clean. I don't know if it's the detergent they use but it smelled horrible. Especially in the bathroom. Maybe look into that. Also the noise. I feel like the rooms are not sound proof because we could hear our neighbors' phone ringing from their room and the people who were talking in the corridor.

cleaning lady was lovely.

beds were dirty on arrival. there was animal poop outside our chalet. receptionist was very moody and unwelcoming when checking in.

The stuff was helpful and very friendly, i enjoyed the breakfast so much it was so yummy ,probably my highlight of the stay chefs kiss...Our room and bathroom was clean,comfortable bed and good facilities like the tv,mini-fridge and air con made the stay even better I enjoyed the views and the aquadome was amazing with the heated pools,and the hotel poolside was a nice place to hang out The restaurants offered tasty food and were affordable and good customer service Overall it was really amazing and relaxing and id go back again!! I enjoyed my stay!

The room didnt have hairdryers i needed it for my wet hair after swimming No cocktails at the bar and the housekeepers coming while we were still sleeping and the shuttle taxis weren't that effective or available after every 30 minutes as mentioned

Activities, they have indoors and outdoors activities to choose from

I felt like they have enough space to extend their entertainment area, more pools and waterslides will be appreciated, especially this time of the year when it's always packed

Rooms were clean and the shuttle service was exceptional. It's a perfect place since there's everything in one place and you can be driven around the resort to go to different activities for free

Not sure whether we were racially profiled or it was just tribalism but we were told we couldn't use the hotel pool since we were staying at the river resort by a security guard after having confirmed with 3 personnel prior to going there. It ruined everyone's mood for a moment
