Goodstay Hotel Daewoo Inn

The location was excellent. The room size was comfortably large. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions and questions. I was able to check in ahead of time. The bathroom towels were replaced daily and bottled water was provided.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Seoul. It is close to the main subway stations and you can walk 5 to 15 minutes to some famous tourist sites, for example, Gyeongbokgung palace, Namdaemun market. It is not a fancy hotel so you should not expect a big, luxurious room but the room is comfortable enough for you to have a good sleep at low cost. It is really quite despite being located centrally in Seoul. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

The internet is not so good but that is easy to be fixed. It is a bit difficult to find the hotel so you need to check the map carefully before you arrive.

The location is fantastic, close to the metro station and bus stop to the airport, very central so relatively quick to get around Seoul and plenty of restaurants around. The twin room was spacious, clean, bedding so nice and crispy fresh,towels changed daily. And service excellent! The man at the reception walked out with me to show me the way to the bus stop to the airport and generally they were so nice and friendly!

The bed was a little bit too hard. Got used to it after the first night and it would not put me off from staying here again.

Located in Myeongdong, walking distance to Myeongdong street and many restaurants. The room was cozy. What stood out most is the man that was working the front desk (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) but he was very helpful with accommodating me and making sure I was comfortable. He helped me with my questions regarding directions and getting back to the airport and made sure my stay was a great one.

The shower head is too close to the sink and when you use the sink, there is still water coming out of the shower head.

Very clean, room bigger than expected for price and room type, helpful staff and very convenient location.

Only a few small things that could be improved. Poor ventilation in bathroom so towels etc didn’t really dry out, but dried quickly if hung in the bedroom (note the bathroom was separate to the bedroom, but this is quite common I think in this part of Asia. Bathroom light went off a few times (I think it might have been a timer - possibly could be reset, but I didn’t know how.) While there was a hot and cold water dispenser available, it would have been handy to have a kettle in the room.

Breakfast was not included in the Price and I did not mind at all. I bought bought cereals and milk from 7/11 shop which was next to the hotel. This was just enough for my breakfast as I do not need a big breakfast when I am travelling.

I loved everything about the Hotel - so there is nothing to complain about this property. the location was excellent, Kim, the Manager and his wife, Yeong were very warm and friendly. Kim even helped me to book tours and also recommended which were the best tours to take. Kim gave me a map showing where things were in Seoul city and where I could go and explore on my own. which I did on my first day in Seoul He showed me where to catch the Airport Shuttle Bus from to go to the airport.

Staff/owner very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We got there early and they were able to accommodate us and had an early check in. It was truly appreciated as we were exhausted from travelling and needed to nap! Also was given a room upgrade!! Great location- close to transit, restaurants, walking distance to Myeongdong and Namdaemun Market. At night this area also has pochas which we enjoyed. Good price for Seoul.

Beds were extra firm and looked like sheets weren’t changed. Bathroom gets wet and takes a while to dry up, it will be nice to have some kind of barrier between shower/toilet.

Location: near to City Hall station (one stop from Seoul station) and approx 5mins walk to hotel after exiting Exit 7. Many eateries in the area. The hotel is in a small lane adjacent to 7-Eleven, beside a mural of a puffy fish. It is also walkable to attractions like the Cheonggyecheon stream. Staff: Friendly and speak basic English. Room: I stayed in the ground floor Rm101. It’s clean with all basic amenities (soap/shampoo etc). One suggestion is to put some hanging hooks on the wall. A water cooler is outside my room with hot and warm water available for everyone.

I'm really grateful that the owner allowed me to check-in earlier...although I expected just to leave my bag. The location is super convenient . Myeondong, Namdemun, Seoul Station, even Namsan are very near. The room was clean, with all necessary things. The place is quiet, but a lot of restaurants are nearby. The price for such accommodation in Seoul is very good. I think next time when I come back in Seoul I will stop by hererr again.

Maybe the soundproofing between the rooms is not so good. Everything depends on your neighbour.

Very clean and nice hotelroom, the staff was amazing and so helpfull. Location is 10/10 i Next to myeongdong and close to the subway. Definitly book this location.

The bathroom was a little small and included the shower over the toilet. I did not mind at all but orher people might. For the rest great location, nice bed and great staff for a good price and location. Thank you for everything!!
