Checkin Montserrat

The location was absolutely amazing upon a hill with views overlooking Montserrat mountain range. Each room has its own balcony which we found of great benefit to enjoy the morning sunrise. The breakfast was very adequate and tasty with a good range of options.

Some of the carpets were a little worn but this reflects the very reasonable price it costs to stay here.

Reception part, main hall, breakfast room etc are all well designed and pretty. The rooms on the first floor are looking good and are well maintained. If you're lucky you'll get pretty nice view on the Montserrat mountains. The staff is kind and helpful.

The second floor need changes. Big one. The quality is low. And that carpet in the corridor on second floor is just horrible.

Room spacious and comfortable. Good view, good pool and adequate parking. Excellent staff especially the young lady at reception. You achieved a glorious first. An excellent, controllable, usable hair dryer. In 49 years of hotel travelling from my first job at 22, I have always had to rely on my own hairdryer.

A clear glass en-suite wall. Even with its naff artwork of a part brick wall to block the view of someone on the loo, sitting in bed you could still see someone using the loo via the long mirror on the opposite wall, the en suite also having a clear glass door. Most hotel interior designers are pathetic. There were the two usual faults with most hotels: a room for two with ONE easy chair; secondly mirrors with no or inadequate lighting, in this instance the the tall/ long wall mirror. Balconies with no furniture or privacy. Not all your guests are on "bonding" management courses.

Great glorious hotel, in the middle of a kind of sierra and nice views and surroundings. Nice rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and great value for money too. You need a car to go there

There are things that look really worn and outdated (mostly the moquette ) but really, the place is great, just ignore the first impression, you'll discover a hidden gem

We were in a rush and could have just coffee, probably the best one, I've ever tried in Spain! The coffee at the lobby was !!! TOP 100% !!! The area is amazing! Our room had a beautiful view to the garden, pool and mountain Montserrat. After 23:00 it was perfectly quiet.

I was there out of season. The hotel, as the name indicates, is also a center for training, so you can expect to meet professional groups etc. The lcoation is a goods basis to explore Monserrat. City nearby is msall but nice with history. In my case it was a short stop before reaching Barcelona. It was avery good stay

good location, 5 minutes from the A2. rooms clean and big and although we didn’t use, there is a pool and gym. the bar was cheap with a nice terrace. breakfast had lots choice. Only 20 mins from Barcelona.

it is really a training facility rather than a tourist hotel. 100’s of company students were there. meals were all buffet and fixed price. so no flexibility. otherwise no issues at all

It seems to be mostly a conference centre but as a solo traveller I found it to be comfortable and good for a night stop on my way to France. Its 30 min drive from Montserrat Monastery. Its location is a bit isolated but you can get food and drink on site.

Location, staff, nature and the beautiful view from the balcony. It's not the latest and trendiest place, but they started with the renewal.

In our room there was a strange smell like someone poured out some beer.
