An excellent example of a typical Spanish roadside restaurant with a small hotel attached. Excellent value for money. Limited facilities (as is normal) but very comfortable, modern room and unusually good public areas (with chess set up to play, for example). We visited during a really cold snap and were delighted (& relieved) to find it toasty warm. Ample free parking.

Like many such hotels, the restaurant is not open 7 days a week. Closed from Sunday after lunch until Tuesday. So no food for Sunday evening arrivals. But town centre a short drive (or pleasant walk on a warmer day) away. We stayed on a Sunday! But our hostess was very helpful in explaining how to get into town, where to park and where to eat. With restaurant closed there was also no-one in reception and we found the front door locked. We rang the displayed number and someone arrived within 5 minutes. But could be challenging for a non-Spanish speaker.

Room was excellent, clean and lots of space. Nice modern furnishings and very large comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space.

Breakfast as mentioned in booking.com paperwork was not the same. The cafeteria is a busy locals place and only breakfast offered is traditional tostada and tomato ( which is normal breakfast for us) but nothing else on offer. Not even queso or jamon(cheese or ham). No evening meal available. There are a couple of restaurants in town open for dinner from 8pm.

This is a nice hotel in a very cute town. I picked it because it was 90 minutes from the airport. We did not want to drive far after the long flight. It ended up being a nice hotel and we really enjoyed Consuegra. The hotel provided soap, shampoo, and some other niceties. (We had hotels in Spain that provided none of that and didn't give you drinking glasses too) The windmills were fun to walk around and the town is very nice. The person who checked us in gave us really good information on how to get around the town and where the grocer store was located. This is a very reasonably priced hotel, so come with reasonable expectations. (that warning is for people who are used to staying in $200 a night places) There is a small bar/restaurant next door where you can get breakfast, but you probably need to go into town if you want more than coffee and tostado (toast).

We had a car so the location was fine for us. However, it was on the very edge of town and outside the main business district. This could be a bit of a walk if you come by bus.

unfortunately we arrived late Sunday and were hoping to have a meal or at least a drink with tapas and we were informed that the restaurant closed from 5.00 pm Sunday afternoon and was closed on Monday I think it would be advisable for travellers to take this into account when booking especially if you are travelling South and needing just one night's stay.

The hotel was extremely clean, especially the bedroom and bathroom that we stayed in. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to park the car right outside which was comforting. The hotel was well located for our journey onward. We were so happy there that we have booked another night for our return journey.

The young lady who checked us in was a delight. Even though her English was limited as was our Spanish she went to great effort, speaking slowly to give us all the information we needed plus gave us info about the town, etc. .She is a real asset to the hotel! The room and bathroom were very nice,nicely decorated and very clean. WE ate at the r estaurant next door and had a very good meal, well priced.

Hostess was amazing, despite the language barrier she went above and beyond to explain about the area and places to see. Very dog friendly. Lovely room. We had a room at the back so no road noise. Comfy bed. Only negative we went to restaurant next door for food at 6.30 but had stopped serving. Shame as it looked and smelt lovely at 3.30. Would definitely recommend, had read previous reviews but we loved it.

Good rooms, nice bed, but should have had fridge in room. Also, cafe wasnt open on mondays. the hotel and wensite should have pointed this out VERY explicitly.

This is a lovely hotel in a good location, especially if travelling along the main north/south route of Spain. It is clean, comfortable and good value. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond with help and information. Our dog was also welcomed - he was provided with food & water bowls and treats. This hotel deserves better than its current 1 star rating!

Staff in the hotel were brilliant, very friendly and informative., Easy parking and not too far from the town.

The bar/restaurant wasn't part of the hotel I don't think, we went for breakfast, and was told to move to the next table, there was nobody else in the bar. Then waited 25 minutes for service, which didn't happen so we left.
