Paid for bed and breakfast. Didn't get the breakfast as not enough staff as it was very busy. Sat down at 9.30 waited 30 min and waiter didn't even acknowledge we were there. Gave up and went elsewhere

La Posada del Cani is located in the heart of Competa. The room was clean, spacious. In the reception there was a fridge with ice -cold water for guests (which is really convenient in Andalusia during summer). The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The breakfast is served in a restaurant 200m away from the hotel, and You can get a delicious Andalusian breakfast (cafe, toasted bread with tomatoes, jam or different types of sandwiches, or eggs). The staff is really helpful.
Our room was located aside from the main entrance and had thin walls, and we heard everyone entering and leaving through the main doors.

Excellent location in the center of Cómpeta. Spacious room, lovely roof terrace and outstanding service from staff.
The mattress on the bed was too firm. Great if that's your preference but it wasn't ours.

Really good location next to the central square. Very clean and all the sheets and towels smelled divine! Great air conditioning unit which helped as it was particularly cold during my stay and the heating was much appreciated. Hassle free check in and check out and decent breakfast included, with friendly service in the restaurant. Nice to have coffee facilities and free water in the common area. WiFi included and good reception. Lovely hot shower with toiletries available and the room was very pretty and had a cozy vibe :)
Lots of noise at the weekend with guests and hosts not onsite to enforce quiet rules! This was made difficult by the thin walls and doors with gaps below the door. The brief interaction I had with the lady who was turning out the rooms was a little frosty...
