Hotel Begoña

That it had a fridge, the blinds that let in no light. Nice spacious room. Rooms cleaned daily

That the cleaners would turn off the power to the room. This meant that if there was a drink in the fridge, it would not be cold.

Located centrally adjacent to the Plaza Begona, this is a great hotel to ready walking access to the centre of Gijon, and therefore the old quarter, the Roman Baths and all of the bars and restaurants. Car parking is available in the hotel's own underground car park (which is tight) at an additional cost of €8.50/night, which is worth it for the convenience and is comparable with public car park costs. A car is not required to explore this city.

The location was perfect and very central. The hotel was spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely with good choice. Good value for what we paid for 3 nights in July.

There was no air conditioning and also, a noisy generator outside our bedroom window.

It ALL went really well. Staff are ALL professional and friendly; Best Customer Service I have ever had! Location is fantastic, centre of Gijon and very convenient. Room was excellent in every way. Bed was very confortable and I had a very relaxing time whenever I was in the hotel room. I would always recommend Hotel Begona to anyone!

I can't think of anything that I did't like or any unsatisfactory comments.

Old fashioned hotel, centrally located for city centre and close to Gijon beaches. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The furnishings may not be the most fashionable but to me this is not important. Enjoyed my stay here.

Breakfast was adequate but not worth 8 euros. Hotel parking was tight with an estate. Room next to main room was noisy but lovely to have window open.

We really liked the location as we enjoy walking along Paseo Begona to visit coffee shops. It was esay to reach all the places we like to visit such as Plaza Mayor, the beach the old town and the shops.

Friendly staff. The receptionist spoke English and came out to show us how to get to the garage. The rooms were clean. Great location. Spacious room.

It is a little outdated. Reminds me of hotels 20 years ago. At breakfast everyone was in a rush even though most of e tables were empty. We asked for chocolate and were served instant cocoa.

They were on the route for the Camino de Santiago. They had gluten free bread for breakfast and a separate toaster for the gluten free bread. A big plus for a person with celiac. There was a bar next door for a late night drink.
