Hotel Flamingo

Location great, staff friendly, bed comfortable. I had to leave early so couldn’t try the full breakfast but the staff prepared me a picnic for the road. That was a really nice touch. Otherwise walking distance from the beach and downtown, which is perfect. We were able to park right in front. Great for 1 night!

The room with with only a roof window was ok for 1 night as a stopover during a road trip but if longer, better to upgrade to a room with windows. The outdoor pool was a bit small so if there is already a family there, it feels crowded to have a swim. The indoor pool is heated but also has no windows.

Spacious room with sea view from 3 windows. Great bathroom with a bidet which helps to save water and a choice of bath /shower. The fridge in the room contained two welcome bottles of water and no extra unnecessary items. There was a bar in the hotel. Liked being able to use the machine to get hot chocolate without milk.

The two breakfast sittings should have helped with ensuring there was adequate scrambled egg/bacon but l timed it wrongly. A second bottle of water in the fridge on the second day would have improved my life. The car park coped with my small car but access/exit could have been clearer.

A lovely hotel on the seafront. we had a room with sea view and balcony which was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Also a huge walk in shower. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and courteous, the lady waiting on in the restaurant was lovely.

We had fun in the car park as it is underground and a bit tight with our car but only to e expected with the age of it and modern cars that are bigger, but this did not detract from our enjoyment of our stay.

Standard tourist hotel in beach resort, recommended to us as it is well placed for bird trips to the Ebro delta which is why we were there. Comfortable room with a balcony although it was unfortunately too cold in early April to use it. Breakfast was good. Within walking distance of north part of the delta, train station nearby for easy access to Valencia or Barcelona plus Amposta.

The coffee at breakfast was not to my liking and also took ages to get out of the machine. It was not very busy but there was a very slow queue on one morning for the machines.

Lovely glass surrounding restaurant with linen tablecloths and napkins with beautiful sea views. Excellent food with varied good choice of menu and table service. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast. Lovely spacious bright dining area leading to lovely spacious outside seating area if required. Most helpful and pleasant staff in reception and dining facilities.

Unfortunately when booking it had not been apparent that side sea view room on level 1 had only small balcony with no seating facility.

We opted for the junior suite - ours was on the 1st floor with excellent views of the sea (just across the road). The room was great, a sofa, 2 chairs and a huge comfortable bed. Great bathroom with a spa bath. The breakfast was good with excellent choice. It's not far from the town centre - just a few minutes walk by the sea and you're in the middle with a range of bars / restaurants.

A tiny niggle - and only because of our chosen mode of transport - I drive a van (2.05 metres high) which was a bit too tall for their secure parking - but there was plenty of on-street parking available very close to the hotel. Saved me a few euros :) This might have been due to our stay being out-of-season.

We stayed in one of the hotels apartments, very well equipped and spacious, had access to a private swimming pool, although the hotel is only 50 yards from the sea. everything worked, had access to all the hotel amenities, parking is underground and very tight as I found to my cost.

Wifi is a little problematic kept dropping out in the apartment, very strong once in the hotel.

Everything. The room size, balcony, sea views, only short walk to bars and shops, the secure underground parking of which there was plenty. Pool is small but perfect. You get given pool towels at reception free of charge. Excellent restaurant. Breakfast had hot options as well as continental.

Nothing.

There was a lot of choice of good quality products, I particularly liked the tomatoes, the walnuts and the round nuts and the fruit. I loved the bacon and egg but the temperature was too low for me and the bacon was a bit oily and fatty but I still couldn’t resist it! The coffee and the freshly squeezed orange juice were really lovely too.

Oily fatty bacon. That’s all!

The hotel was comfortable and clean and its location was perfect for us with just a short walk into the town. We could choose an hours time slot for breakfast so that there was plenty of space to sit either inside or outside. The breakfast had an ample choice.
