Hotel Marsol

The Hotel was very comfortable, the staff were friendly, the food was excellent including a fantastic selection at breakfast. Excellent amenities, including a heated indoor/outdoor roof top pool and Jacuzzi, a Gym, Sauna and Massage service. The decor is very contemporary and I was particularly impressed with all the Fixtures and Fittings not only in the public areas but also in the guests rooms. The shower was amazing with room for 3 at a time!

My only objection and disappointment was that the hotel was dog friendly. It got very annoying listening to dogs constantly barking late at night and early in the mornings. Be sure to check that your room is quite a distance from any dogs staying at the hotel.

Spent two days staying at this hotel on the back of the Catalunya MotoGP. I asked for an earlier check in which was granted. Getting to the hotel seems complicated but the road accessing it, is controlled by the police and they will grant you access. You can then leave your car out the front for 10 mins whilst checking in. The parking is 10 mins away, and cost €18 a day which the hotel can arrange for you. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much. We had a very pleasant 2 days. The roof top pool was quiet and ideal. Breakfast and dinner was excellent with a good choice to cover most dietary requirements. Ideally located in the heart of Lloret de Mar! Would definitely return.

Room atmosphere felt a little damp, air conditioning didn’t seem to make a difference.

Amazing location, right by the beach. I loved the view from our room, we stayed on the 5th floor and we could see the beach & the sea which was super nice. Definitely worth it to pay extra for an ocean-view room. The room was also nice, comfortable and had a lot of light. We really enjoyed the balcony, it was a bit small but very nice and cozy. The rooftop area with the pool is quite nice as well. Breakfast was great, a lot of different options and the staff were all really nice and helpful. The hotel is also very close to many restaurants. We did not try the hotel’s restaurant as it had mostly seafood options and we’re vegetarian but many other great restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant seemed to have a great atmosphere though. I would definitely stay here again.

The shower could have been cleaner and there was no iron in the room. The hotel is also a bit older than it looks based on the pictures but compared to other hotels in Lloret, I think it was great.

Lovely hotel right on seafront. Room is modern & bright with English TV channels. Tea & coffee facilities & fridge ( no milk provided) Excellent shower with great pressure. We chose half board which was good, buffet style. There is a pool available on the roof. Parking is limited, we were out of season so it was ok. Definitely would return

Nothing, it was great

Loved a lot about the hotel, the cleanliness of the room, the friendly staff, the great choice and quality of food at breakfast and at dinner, the ease of access, the central location to shops, churches etc The air conditioning was great especially as we had an intense heatwave while there. Also the fact that there were English speaking channels on the television helped on the days it was too hot to go out.

The rooftop location of pool made things a little difficult. If you wanted a drink while there you had to go in the lift from the 7th to the ground floor. At dinner in the evenings it would have been nice for there to have been a jug of water on the tables. No fault of the hotel but there was no beach area to walk on....it seems as if there is a shelf between the sand and the water....artificially made to stop coastal erosion. As such you couldn't walk the beach with your feet in the water....there was a shelf between the sand and the water.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, friendly front desk staff with prompt check in. Our room overlooked the beach / ocean with ample areas to dine across the hotel and all the way down the strip of street. The area is upbeat yet quiet at night for sleeping.

HUm.... spending a few more days in Lloret. We plan to return !Thank you to the staff for making our stay in Marsol memorable. Pauline and Peter (from Canada)

All and all, I thought it was a fantastic stay. The buffet was very nice, with a good variety, the rooftop had a beautiful view, and the rooms were modern and clean with cold AC. Couldn't really ask for more, especially in a great location, right in the centre of everything. Special shoutout to Carolina, one of the waitresses at the buffet. She gave STELLAR service throughout our time there.

The excellent location. The outside restaurant was very nice and the “Menu del Dia” was good value and the food excellent. Hotel “Buffet” had plenty of choices with a great view the food and wine!

The room was on the side only two floors above road level and could be noisy at night although the double glazing did help. The air conditioning didn’t work well and you needed to have an open window which gave a choice between noise and fresh air?

The location was great, the beach was across the road. The hotel was walking distance from the shops , bus station etc...the hotel is exactly like the pictures shown. The receptionists were very helpful, would definitely recommend this hotel.

I didn't like the dinner buffet, would do breakfast only next time

Central location along the marina, restaurants all around the place Breakfast was fantastic and location of the restaurant on the first floor has a super nice view

Two twin beds were not connected with a king sheet and kept separating that was annoying until finally I asked to give me the king size mattress cover and sheets to wrap it together The gym is very little and pool is tiny too, plus the A/C in the gym didn’t work
