Limited food choice with second restuarant, no changes to menu if staying 4 days+.. given the hotel location is remote, then this is a disappointment. Their 2 * Mitchelin resturant has superb presentation, attention to detail is exceptional, however this would be for only 1 night of your stay, there is a tendancy to think this is sufficient but it is not for longer stays.

Everything - the staff are lovely, they were extremely polite & friendly. The hotel is amazing, everything has been done to perfection. The setting, the furnishings, the food. Breakfast is the best we have ever experienced and the Michelin starred restaurant & food is out of this world. This stay was for a birthday and everything about the hotel and it's staff made it a lovely, memorable experience.

On the second night we ate in the main restaurant - the setting, staff, attention to detail, service was excellent but we just felt the food was a little disappointing.

This is a fantastic hotel. My 5th time here (last time was already in 2014 !), but it is still one of my favourites. Rooms are very spacious ! Staff is very efficient, always super friendly. New for us were the electric buggies. Very nice. The children adored it ! The pool and the poolservice were great ! I also liked the new tapas menu at the Plaza Bar; very original and authentic. For me the perfect place to stay with children.

The rooms need quite urgent some freshing up. The furniture is already old and not always very clean. They need to do big investments for the near future. Kitchen of "el Cortijo" is decent (could be a lot better though), service is outstanding, but the prices are quite expensive comparing with other Spanish (and better) restaurants. Also the prices of the wines are those we are used to (unfortunately !) in Belgium.

It was the greatest adventure in Andalucia in a place between Malaga and Granada. A unique hotel in a cozy place. The nature is beautiful, the staff is polite and kindly, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is perfect. We were celebrating a birthday, and a hotel gave us a small gift. Thanks for attention! Also we had a dinner in La Finca Michelin restaurant. And we are still on emotions. The best set dinner in Spain! Moreover we visited spa and massage with olive oil! Delicious! All in all we give 5+ stars to this hotel. And are expecting the next trip to this hotel in a new season.

Our son had stayed here with his young family and recommended it to us - we loved it. The hotel is very rural but within reasonable driving distance of Malaga, Granada and Cordoba. It was originally a farmhouse and has a lovely old world atmosphere. The outside space is large with three beautiful pools and a bar serving, among other things, delicious healthy smoothies. There is always at least one lifeguard on duty and the pools are very child friendly. Our room was beautifully furnished with a large bathroom, lovely terrace and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with everything one could wish for and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners sitting on the terrace of the excellent restaurant. A big thank you to all the staff who were so helpful, friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel.

We borrowed bikes from the hotel but were disapointed that the cycle track was so short.

Amazing property in a beautiful country setting, One of the best hotels for the money we have ever been to (tip: spend the extra for the junior suite with terrace!). And the service could not have been better. When I mentioned in passing that we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday, we returned to our suite to find a cake, a chilled bottle of champagne, and a lovely note. We were totally charmed.

Amazing property, great pool and friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Stylish interior design, spacious and various options to have dinner. The staff went above and beyond and especially Paola was such a sweet-heart, always very polite and with a smile on her face. Breakfast amazing as well. Bed was sooo comfortable, we had such a great sleep. The surroundings are very beautiful.

Sometimes a weird smell came out of the toilet. The restaurant for the lunch was rather avarage.

Fabulous pool area, a delicious breakfast selection, tastefully decorated throughout with every attention to detail. Impeccably clean. Friendly, helpful staff.

The two restaurants offered a limited and quite expensive menu. Given that the property is quite remote, there weren’t many other options to choose from. It would have been nice if the hotel had a lighter, cheaper dining alternative.

A truly outstanding 'hideaway' hotel with great facilities, fabulous, friendly staff and excellent eating/dining options on site. Food is exceptional. Try the taster menu option if available. This is 5 star plus luxury. You can lounge around two large pools or combine poolside relaxation with tennis, padel tennis, table tennis, badminton, cycling, walking or driving buggies around the large country estate. Rooms and terraces are spacious and lovely. Sheer heaven.

Hard to fault. I never give 10/10 but this is as close as it comes!

The room we had was amazing, with a terrace and a view to die for. Service was impeccable, the food was delicious and we had a great time.

Could have had TVs with Netflix etc to watch movies. Entrance to the SPA could have been included given the price we paid. Possibility to choose twin beds would have been a plus.
