Serrat del Vent - Adults only

Location has made it for us. Be prepared for a longer way from Ribes than what you may expect, most of it on a very narrow road (so try not to arrive after sunset, at least on the first time), but the awesome scenery makes it worthwhile. Though we just stayed there overnight, we lingered a bit to enjoy the views (and the lovely dog) . It is a private house with just few rooms, but there is a swimming pool.

breakfast was very basic.

Quiet, comfortable.. Albert was very hospitable. No drink making facilities in room but Albert was happy to make us drinks ( for a fee). Stunning views and dogs were gorgeous..

A little remote from village.. not a problem other than host doesn’t provide evening meals and choice in village was not good on the evening we were there.

This place has phenomenal views, the whole house is gorgeous. It's only a 10 minute drive from town (but it's steep and bendy so not for the faint hearted!) Bruc the dog, what a gentle and lovely soul.

Pool being heated! It was very cold in October. A few other travellers have mentioned the option for food in the evening, this would have been perfect, as we didn't always want to go into town and the options there were limited at this time of year.

Some light fixtures and things in the bathroom were broken or in need of updates. These were just minor though.

Everything. The place's owner (Albert) and his big playful dog (Brook), the house, the fantastic view...paradise on earth!

Breakfast...more food. Bathroom and shower need more airflow...

The house is located on a slope overlooking Ribes de Freser. It's a bit remote, but you can still get there walking from the train station. The owner is super nice and helpful. There is a dog, a cat and 2 horses so contact with the nature is granted. There is also a room that can be used as an office, so working from there is a valid option. You can order a pretty good dinner and spend some time next to a chimney. In general it's an ideal place to relax and disconnect.

Place is very peaceful, perfect to disconnect and enjoy amazing views! And - you get to play with a friendly dog :) Room was very clean, atmosphere very pleasant. Host is very nice.

Breakfast are very small. Dinner would be a nice option - otherwise you need to go to the village to get some food. Water pressure in the shower quite low.

it’s a unique beautifully restored property. the owner is a lovely man who is incredibly kind and patient.

The place is lovely, it is very relaxing and quiet and above all it has a beautiful views. The host, Albert is very friendly as long as his dog, Bruc. We really enjoyed our stay and had a very relaxing getaway. Everything was trully exceptional! This casa rural is 100% recommended.

The views from all the areas are exceptional and the food is home-made and delicious. Each room is beautifully decorated. The icing of the cake is the warmth and attentive reception from Albert and the other hosts.
