M.A. Hotel Sevilla Congresos

This was a last minute booking due to our flights being cancelled and having to travel to Sevilla to catch a flight home. The hotel was lovely and clean and impressive on arrival. The staff we lovely and spoke wonderful English (thankfully because my Spanish is pretty poor). Unfortunately we were only there for a short time so didn’t get to enjoy the facilities, but they looked very good. It’s nice and close to some restaurants and a supermarket.

We were on the side by the road and even though we were high up it was quite noisy. I don’t think I would have liked to stay there for a long length of time.

Location is ideal if you are attending a conference at FIBES. It is a convenient 5-minute walk to the conference centre (right across the street). There is a grocery store and a McDonald within a 5-minute walk. The McDonald was under renovation at the time when I was there. The grocery store has everything you need for a ready-to-eat meal, etc. This hotel is not closed to the city centre. However, you can easily take a bus (No. 27) to the city centre where most shopping, eating, and sightseeing locations can be found. It is about a 20-minute bus ride. The hotel is also very closed to the airport, which is about a 10-15-minute cab ride. The room is nice and clean, with different lighting options within the room. Looking at the room map, it seems like all rooms are connecting rooms (i.e., connected doors between rooms with locks in place). You can easily hear the TV and noise from next door most of the time. The washroom is spacious and clean with shower, make-up mirror, and hair dryer.

I am used to North American style hotel rooms and would expect the following in the room, but these were not available here: coffee machine (or kettle), coffee pods/packs, tea bags, ice bucket, microwave, a box of Kleenex, and a washcloth as part of the towel set in the washroom. There is a fridge (including a bottle opener inside) in the room. The towel set in the washroom includes a bath towel and a hand towel. In the shower, the two dispensers contain shower gel and shampoo, but not hair conditioner. There is also no body lotion provided as bathroom amenities.

Rooms were quite good, and the pool was very nice in the hot summer in Sevilla. It is very near of fibes, and the zone is full places to have dinner and some drinks. If you are not planning of going to the center of Sevilla, and need to get to fibes, its a very good option.

The parking was a little bit expensive at 12€, and there are parking spots around for free (of course the car is in the street, against a closed parking). If it was a little bit cheaper, I would say the hotel was perfect.

It was spotlessly clean and fresh - no tired decor, the staff were all exceptionally helpful and polite and it was convenient for the airport. Not a hotel you'd stay in for a sightseeing trip of Seville as it was between Seville and the airport, but it had a lovely outdoor pool and seating area, and an excellent restaurant. Top marks for everything and it was such good value.

Nothing. Couldn't fault it in any respect.

Modern room was large with a huge bed. Nice mood lighting in room. Friendly staff. Very quiet with hardly any other guests seemingly. Would have been excellent if it had been 50EUR a night cheaper.

I thought it was very overpriced at 150EUR a night due to the location. It was very far out, close to the airport but with no means of getting there without your own car. No bus and a 30EUR taxi ride which was a complete rip off. We had to get the C4 train into central Seville and then bus out again to the airport which was quite annoying. Area was very quiet with hardly anyone about. It was inconvenient for the centre of Seville as we found out the train finished at about 7:30pm and it was over a 3 mile walk otherwise. Pool was drained and out of order. For the high price a free airport shuttle should be included.

Breakfast was brilliant.

The towels in the bathroom was not changed regularly and on the last night I had to complain as there was no hand towel, towel mat for when you stepped out of the shower also the large towel was not changed but they did make good of my complaint.

The staff were so welcoming. Our flight had been terribly delayed and we were so tired when we arrived at 2 in the morning and they were so welcoming and spoke English and were very efficient. The rooms were fine, just what we needed. The hotel was quiet and nicely air conditioned. This was a bonus as it was so so hot. We all slept well and if you need a hotel near Seville Airport, this is a good one to stay in.

Marta, a professional and helpful reception staff member gave us excellent local information that made our stay in Seville a very good one. The hotel has very high standards of service and excellent facilities to make our stay very comfortable and affordable. Very clean and well looked after hotel within easy reach of the airport and public transport into the city centre.

Everything exceeded our expectations

Staff competent and friendly, large room and close to the airport, actually we reserved here because we need to be not faraway from the airport. Anyway for the very low price we did book could be an option even to stay in Sevilla to visit. Parking available with an extra fee.

Very efficient check in and parking was easy. Location near the airport was exactly what we needed. The room and the bed were very comfortable, nothing fancy but more than adequate. Good airport hotel option.

Lacking atmosphere, but then, that's what one would expect in this class of hotel. Room comfort was suboptimal since the air conditioning wasn't working. Opening the windows to compensate let in a lot of noise.
