Best Western Plus Savoy Lulea

This hotel is located in a great central location. With a Coop and Lidl close by. Also close to the shopping district where there are so many stores and mini malls. Choice for breakfast is great, staff are very nice. All speak great English. Although hotel is in central location, my room was so quiet. Even as it was over looking the highstreet. Massive spacious bathroom, bigger than my bedroom at home !!

One day the room was cleaned, but not my bathroom. Towels I left on the floor to be collected were still there when I returned later in the afternoon. Perhaps an oversight?

- Great central location - Good breakfast - The Ego at Savoy restaurant downstairs was really impressive - Good amenities such as a large tv, mini fridge, safe, iron, ironing table, hairdryers, shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, water heater, etc.

- The carpet in the hallways had paint and dirt stains on them, which was a little disappointing - The attached toilet in our standard double room had a constant weird stench - Although well promoted, Netflix did not work on the TV, and couldn’t be solved after complaining to the reception - The hotel telephone did not work either, so every time we needed something we had to go down to the reception

Located in the main street of Lulea city center, this is a lively hotel: at the lobby there is a bar and a restaurant and there is often something going on as they work with local residents as well. I stayed 9 nights, so I enjoyed that. The staff is kind and helpful, there is a little nice complimentary SPA, and the breakfast is very good (great selection). The hotel restaurant is very good as well, though the selection is not huge. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. Safebox for large laptop available in the room.

No desk in the room. Lighting in the room may be improved.

Great location close to the train station but also near most restaurants and bars. Lovely staff; the lady who checked us in was outstanding, I hope she remembers the Scottish couple, we cannot praise her enough. She was on the desk around 6-7pm on 25/07. A credit to herself and the hotel! Excellent room with comfortable bed and spotless linen. The breakfast spread was enormous, varied and worthy of an evening buffet meal. We thought the hotel was outstanding value for money. In summary we were so pleased and impressed. We also ate in their restaurant which was brilliant value for money in very expensive Sweden.

Nothing to complain about.

Easy location to drive in with a nice parking facility. Very friendly staff and happy to help. The first the bastu was off when we used spa but next morning the receptionist said they will check it out. She also looked for us information regarding of the attraction that we wanted to check out.

Carpet looked dirty on the corridors and worn out in the room. Bathroom door was very difficult to open or close fully, like door was too tight.

The staff at the hotel were some of the nicest and most welcoming people alive. We probably interacted with at least 12 different members of staff and everyone was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond and explaining how the bicycles worked and what to do and where to go. I really hope they read this because I don't know if they get enough appreciation but they really are just the most fantastic hotel staff I've ever met.

Nothing it's a really great hotel and I'm really happy I picked it because we took a wander and looked at some of the other hotels we had been considering and this is by far the nicest one.

The hotel is in a very central location in Luleå. There are public parking space well available nearby and they are partially without a charge. Just right next door are a Coop grocery store and also Systembolaget (state owned liquor store). The hotel are neat and clean and our room was well equipped, quiet and room temperature was pleasant. The bed was stiff enough for our taste. Breakfast was excellent, there where lots of different varieties where to choose to, and in the restaurant was spacey. We have to give special mention to a compact spa department: Two jacuzzis, three different showers and a good sauna! As Finns, we liked it a lot.

There were no blackout curtains in room, so somebody might be disturbed by light in summer nights. The remote controller for the tv was a little bit cranky and non-logical. In the bathroom there where no bidet shower, and it is a somekind of a deficiency.

Great hotel in general, nice rooms and amazing location.

I booked this hotel specifically because they had a sauna, only to find out that you need a swimsuit to enter it. This is a weird policy I might maybe expect somewhere in central Europe but have never seen in these latitudes and thus was not prepared for. This completely ruined my stay, but I did not let this influence the review too much since it's probably not a big deal for most visitors.

We visit Lulea regularly as we travel to the Arctic Circle and need only ever stay at this hotel- the staff are so friendly, always keen to help where possible and the rooms are fantastic! If you can stay in a King room, definitely do it- private sauna, deep bath, rain shower and heated floor tiling render it as your very own private spa! Dinner is delicious and location superb. If I could give these guys an 11/10 I would!

Absolutely nothing!

The hotel is at the great place on the main street of the city and it´s close to everywhere. The room was good and the breakfast was very delicious!

The room didn ´t have the coffee maker even though it was written in the room description. The curtains didn’t darken the room and it was kind of hard to fall asleep at the light night.
