Elite Stora Hotellet Örebro

Fantastic location, historic and beautiful hotel. One of the rooms we were provided was a corner room with 5 meter high ceilings.

The other adjacent room we were assigned as part of our booking (we booked 2 rooms) was of a much lower standard than the big room we paid for, yet both rooms seemed to be priced similarly? This part confused us. (On the whole not a complaint because the enormous room far exceeded our expectations but a little puzzling.)

I like the hotel building, the decor, and, of course, the great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, with a nice view to the side street. As all the bars and restaurants are closed at 11pm (COVID restrictions), even Friday night noise has stopped at this time. The bed was very comfortable, the room was light and airy. Everything was in a reasonable order and functioned properly. It was a pleasure to have a good breakfast sitting near the window with a view to Orebro Castle. I would love to come again in summer time! Internet connection was good too:-)

There is nothing negative that I can say about the hotel or my stay in Orebro.

Insufficient table capacity at breakfast. The staff did not clean the tables after previous guests, so there was nowhere to sit. Refused to issue an invoice for the accommodation as it was paid through booking.com

The location of the hotel was perfect. Beds were super comfortable and the staff was friendly. The breakfast wasn’t amazing as some reviews made it sound, but it was good.

The interior was quite outdated and the tiles in the bathroom were quite worn out, some even broken. Someone had smashed mosquitos on the walls/ceiling around the room, so a really good deep clean of surfases would be in place…

Stunning, the area is completely stunning We stayed in the other part of the Hotel next door, an old bank, very nice, large warm cosy room, effortless check in by wonderful staff, parking round the corner up on a roof, the castle opposite is beautiful.. great nights sleep in really comfy beds, faultless stay, breakfast was in the main building, again very good..

Friendly and helpful staff. Large clean room facing the water. Nice breakfast. Walking distance to everything Örebro has to offer. Very comfortable beds.

As it is very central, parking is very limited. If you want to charge your car overnight you ll need to park under a group large trees and end up with a very very dirty car.

The room was very nice and clean but I think it's very strange to have rooms without windows. Even if it was stated in the booking. Breakfast was very good

That you had to walk to another building to get your breakfast, not so nice when it rains

Perfect city central location, nice view of the Castle from the room window, excellent breakfast and good room size

If restaurant would provide late dinner facility (after 8 PM) especially to guests living at the same hotel

Classic Stora Hotellet, always super. The brekkie is legendary. At the absolute centre of Orebro.

What is there not to like? Perhaps that I could not have my Pepparbiff as Slottskällaren was not open this time.

The bed was the most comfortable one I had in a long time! Staff was very nice and professional. You can park the car infront to unpack and the reception will guide you to the parking space 200m away, everything worked out fine! The rooms are a little older but that was no problem. The breakfast was nice and had very good bread. Bathroom has floor heating, very nice!
