HOTEL de la Truite & SPA Le petit Nautilus

The staff were fantastic and helpful and even spoke English to me. The shower was a little on the short side, for me but i am rather tall, but when i asked to change rooms they were able to acccommodate my request. The breakfast was good and served a small variety but quality produce and the restaurant in the hotel served delicious large portions of food.

Our stay just wasnt long enough to explore more of the area and the games room in the hotel!!

Excellent hotel located between 2 beautiful lakes and great hiking routes. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms confortable. The rooms were very clean, tempeture was perfect for us and there was always good WiFi. They have a restaurant which has exquisite meals. Breakfast is varied and fresh. The staff were very helpful. We conveyed our plans to the front desk and they quickly provided tips and told me about a free pass we could use for the public transportation which we did not know. One last very important point, I had forgotten a very valuable item and they contact me to return it, they did not charge me for the shipping of the item. I highly values this gesture that is uncommon these days. Thank you again to them in case they are reading my message. Overall I would highly recommend them and eat at their restaurant. We will stay there in the future again.

Convenient location. Good food in the restaurant. Comfy.

The hotel doesn’t have very modern amenities but it’s good value and great to come back to after hiking.

Great location. A nice alternative to a 'modern' hotel. The family room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 young teens who get along well but some might say it was too small. The hotel is a 'heritage' hotel , so rooms are not that big. It was a good experience to see how old the hotel , village and region is because of the photos and artefacts on the walls of the hotel It was clean, quiet and breakfast buffet was good for kids and adults.

The location is perfect right in front of the lake. The room was very clean. the hotel and restaurant’ service is very professional. The hotel is a very cozy, well maintained property .

the double bed is actually two single beds pushed together and the mattress is not very comfortable

Amazing, we absolutely loved it. if you could take a room with a view, it will make your stay just excellent

The location was great, nice view of the lake. The room comfortable and clean. Quirky decor and fixtures, all contributing to the charm. Meal (& breakfast) was good, service professional friendly.

On arrival, we were cold, and soaked after a long hike, but the reception staff dithered and mucked about registering us - would have been nicer if they’d at least let us sit down in the foyer while they addressed the computer issues!

Excellent hôtel, very welcoming staff and excellent situation in front of Lac de Joux Variety of choice in the breakfast, excellent restaurant and sumptuous New year dinner. we recommend it to whom coming to Lac de Joux we enjoyed our stay !!

Just perfect. The staff was wonderfully nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and cosy while the restaurant was exceptional, especially the fish. The portions served are generous and the staff very welcoming and willing to help. We will definitely come back.

Helpful staff- tried to arrange breakfast for me as I had to leave early

Soft mattress. Noisy as I was directly above the entrance and opposite the stairs to the first floor. Some guests arrived very late and made some noise. Bad sleep
