Hotel Müller - mountain lodge

The location of the hotel is very convenient to both the bus and train. The hotel was near to small shops, bars and restaurants which was important for our group. The Sleep&Ski option was excellent value for money. The availability of a driver who took some of our group to the train station was very nice to have. The TV channel selection was outstanding. The Nespresso coffee machines in each room was a real bonus. Finally, the beds were super comfortable.

The ski room was separate from the room where the ski boots were stored, this was a bit inconvenient. Also, it would be nice to have a ski boot warmer/dryer so that the boots do not remain damp.

Dinner was excellent, very tasty and good variety, service very good. Breakfast was good, reasonable variety of items. Room had everything we needed. Very helpful staff. Hotel location is excellent, close to everything, very central.

Would have been nice to eat outdoors as the weather was good. We had room on the street side and we sleep with window open. It was noisy for a while after 11pm due to people standing around on the street below and talking quite loud. Might be an idea to put up a sign to discourage this.

My stay at Hotel Müller was exceptional. I was very impressed by the nice room (my single room was upgraded to a double room, which was nice) and the nice staff. The location is great, the Surovas train stop is just a short walk and much closer than the main Pontresina train station. Breakfast was served until 10:30 AM. It was a nice buffet with very attentive staff, even though I was almost the only guest. In the evenings, the sauna and steam bath were open (and almost always empty during my stay in the very low season in November). The hotel's restaurant was also great, traditional Engadine style. I was also very positively surprised to get a free public transport pass for the duration of my stay ("ÖV inklusive Winter").

While the hotel in itself seemed very quiet, the rooms on the street side do get a bit of street noise. I was awakened by the snow ploughs quite early in the morning. There is a Nespresso coffee maker (with four complimentary capsules) in the rooms, but no kettle or tea maker.

Great location in the centre of town. Very good restaurant, although some portions were very small. Friendly staff. Complimentary pass for the Bergbahn was great (summer stay) and offering a welcome drink is a very nice touch. Complimentary parking is a real bonus if you can get a spot. Would definitely stay here again.

Service was slow in the bar area. Staff were setting up table service for the next meal when we were still eating both at dinner and breakfast which was not very relaxing.

As should be expected of accommodation in this price-bracket. Ticked all the boxes. The property also provides a shuttle service to/from the station. Do arrange it beforehand. This is Switserland after all. Things need to be arranged or they don't exist :) Breakfast was included and exactly what one would expect to see. Loved the 'dunk your egg to your favourite boiled state' water-bath contraption they have.

If anything, the mini-bar prices were a little on the (to-be-expected) steep side.

A pretty little hotel in a great location and quiet village. Traditional on the outside and simple style on the inside. The bed was large and comfortable and the shower was good and hot after a cold day on the mountain. Good facilities - ample storage, sauna, coffee-making, excellent breakfast. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not much not to like. Perhaps the hotel could consider getting rid of minibar fridges to be more environmentally friendly?

I had an absolutely amazing stay in January. Fantastic views over the snowy valley and the mountains from a freshly renovated, cosy room. The room was super clean, very well equipped and nicely decorated. Floor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch too. Outside the rooms, the hotel has a heart-warming mountain lodge feel. Hotel restaurant serves really tasty local standards in a crispy, modern form. Staff goes well beyond their call of duty and makes all guests feel very welcome.

At or near full occupancy, it might be difficult for the staff to keep up with the service, especially during breakfast/check-in/check-out - some of the guests had to wait a bit before being seated. Nevertheless, the service was seamless at all other times. Well done!

Very friendly staff fluent in multiple languages. Room was nice - comfy and clean. Breakfast has everything you could want, and the restaurant is very nice too. They even offer to take you to/from the train station by car despite it being only a 10 minute walk (although up a very steep hill). Great value for money!

Lovely hotel in the center of Pontresina with a superb restaurant, the "Stüva" - highly recommended! Very nice room - we booked a superior double room with mountain view. Delicious breakfast included. Walking distance to many cross-country skiing loipes (which we used after work). Not to forget the friendly and helpful staff - thanks!

That the spa area was closed due to maintenance work without prior notification. We chose the hotel among others because of its spa facility. However a free entry to the local Bellavita Bad & Spa was offered by the hotel at no extra cost.

Excellent hotel, in perfect central, yet quiet, location. Super friendly efficient staff. Great extras such as free bus passes, free welcome drinks on arrival and a free reception on the Swiss Bank Holiday.
