Angels Hostel Taipei Ximen

Location is few minutes walk away from Ximen district. Lounge area has computers with internet and TV. Microwave and fridge, free water, dishes.

All the rooms are connected to the shared space, lounge area. If the TV is on by your room, you will hear it. Same as for people talking. Not a big deal if you sleep late or use earplugs. There are people who live there long term socializing every night. their loud conversations can last over an hour. I had to leave the hostel just to get some quiet time, but it doesnt last.

I had a long stay here (just under a month) and for the price and location I cannot recommend it enough. very cheap and provides everything you would need. staff are extremely friendly and helpful. you must keep in mind that this is a hostel and NOT a hotel - some reviews here have unrealistic expectations. I was in the male shared dormitory, of course you will have 10 other people sleeping in the same room as you so there may be one or two people who have irritating habits but nothing that would disturb your stay. everyone is respectful of others sleep, for the month that I was here there was one instance of a guy coming back from a night out who was speaking loudly -his friend quickly shushed him. the beds have a curtain and provide great privacy, again, for the price it is a comfortable bed. if you are looking for a cheap place in a good location this is a really amazing find. thanks to the staff for my stay!

I cannot stress this enough - FOR THE PRICE - there is nothing negative or unexpected about this hostel

Everything perfect facility and staff I think. Also Convince place. near restaurant which 中正自助餐 is so cheap and delicious, i go to there every day during my staying. and 5 minutes on foot from Ximen station toward south, there is carrifore 24 supermarket discounted.

Staff told us prohibited eating and drinking in dorm room when we check in. But everyday somebody take snacks and drinks with making noise midnight. Should Fine them like inside public train.

I like the place it's comfortable and have space to stay if we won't like to enter the room yet. It's convenient near to an attraction just a walk then you can find landmarks that can amazed you. And near to the mrt station as well.

The things that I don't like no free towel to use and slippers to wear. Tourist should have that things for free use. We're not bringing big lyggage because we just travel for fun.

The hostel is in a good location in the city and it has all essentials. There is a water dispencer as well as a washing machine and dryer.

We booked a double bed in a dorm and the matress was right on the floor in a little space in the wall, fine for a few days but not the most comfortable. There is not so much space for bags in the dorm and the lockers are in a different room, not the ideal thing. To go to the toilet you need to have the key always with you as you need to go out of the main hostel.

-very well located since you can get to major attractions easily and there are a lot of shops and restaurants closeby -I got the highest bed and it was much more spacious than the others so I really enjoyed it. It felt like a little individual room -the staff was nice and helpful

For the toilet area, you have to go out of the hostel and take toilet paper before you go so that was a little unpleasant. And you need your card for that so do not lose it.

Location was very convenient, pretty close to ximen station and few walks towards the main station. My room was big that it has 3level bunkbeds. There’s assigned storage every bunkbeds but can only fit small luggage. Bulky travel bags and luggages has separte storage room that can only be accessed through your keycard. Living area and the common area is well-maintained. Pretty cheap, right for solo travellers and backpackers👌🏽

Clean cold rooms, private curtains , clean toilets but not near the rooms, clean showers , clean nice atmosphere lounge room shared, hot/cold water distiller fridge freezers, friendly staff and guests, would stay again

Not very close to the city if you have luggage and want a close place near main shops and train station bus is outside though, not super quite but not loud either ,

Good location and close to everywhere. Close to Ximen and the Taipei Main station so you can go everywhere. They are very kind and accommodating Love the staff and the place. You get what you paid for. Value for money. I love the common area and they maintain cleanliness.

Only the washroom is outside,. Please be mindful thi is Hostel so you should be flexible about quietness and privacy.
