K Hotel Taipei II

Overall I had a good experience during my stay. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. The food is great and had lots of variety. The bed was very soft and comfortable. There is a direct bus to the airport which only costs less than 100 TWD

I was a bit unhappy about the 10% surcharge initially as I was only informed when I paid at the hotel. But apparently this only happens during peak times or public holidays.

Almost everything, it has everything a traveller might need. There’s free laundry room, free coffee/tea/ice dispenser/hot water all day long. Staffs go out of their way to provide assistance even if it’s outside their scope.

Breakfast is quite limited and just average. Fruits selections very limited, take while it’s available. They only provide one set of kids utensils, and it’s not replaceable, so better bring your own.

Spacious room. Clean facilities. Good price. Many Japanese izakaya around the area.

Requested for a taxi from hotel to airport, front desk ordered a private car which cost TWD1300. I found out from various websites that the general cost for a chartered 4 seater car from city center to airport is just around TWD800.

Great place, above my expectations. Rooms: spacious, relatively new and good design, sofa for rest, desk for computer work, table for coffee, not noisy. Breakfast: Surprisingly good. Usually i don't have breakfast but this hotel made me change my habits. Enough variety of Asian food which is suitable for westerner's test, bread, salad, eggs, some cakes and sweets. Every day something different, thank you for this detail. Well managed breakfast, admirations to the staff! Location: close to metro station, a lot of convenience stores, small night market, not touristic or overcrowded, good option if you want to try authentic street food. The tree-lined street in front of the hotel is one of the nicest streets in Taipei, strongly suggest you to stroll along it if you like walking, you can get up to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.

Thank you for the service. P.S. Not as a critique, just suggestion to the managers: If you add some cheese for breakfast every European will be fully satisfied. Anyway, even without cheese the breakfast is great

The hotel is a few min. walk to the metro station, making it very convenient to go places. The breakfast is phenomenal, with many food options to choose from, and the menu changes everyday. There are washers and dryers in the basement free to use, and laundry detergent is provided. The staff is very responsive. The shower head in our bathroom broke off one day, and we reported it to the front desk. It was fixed the next day while we were out sightseeing. All these excellent services come at a price that's equivalent to that of a motel in the US. It's truly exceptional.

The K suite was of good size and was perfect for 3 of us with an added bed. Couch was a little stiff. Breakfast was wonderful and breakfast staff were super friendly and accommodating to make sure our favorite items were available. Even saw one staff member watching and helping a little girl eat while the dad went to fetch the bib. The laundry area was neat and clean.

The subway stations are about 10 min walk to 2 different lines. Sparse restaurants or snack shops nearby and have to cross big streets for that.

As a family with young children who love to roll around the floor, cleanliness is very important. I have a peace of mind in this hotel. even the bathroom is sparkling clean. looks v new as well. location is walkable to the metro even with young children (of course with a stroller). there r many eateries n a few convenience shops along the way. self operated laundromat is v convenient and after transferring clothes to the dryer the counter staff even offer the service that we can inform them if we are going out and can't collect and they will help collect if someone else wants to use it. absolutely awesome service. can request for simple sandwich to be packed if you check out is super early in the morning as well, but advise u to remind them 1 day in advance as our request was forgotten and we had to go to the airport to search for food. breakfast selection was awesome as well!

The location is perfect as close to red line metro station, as it is easy to access the majority of attractions in the city. The surrounding is safe and clean as it is on a main street. The room was clean and well equipped. The furnitures were well designed to have ample space for storage. The staff were very nice and friendly. The phone in the rooms could be easily reached from outside. The breakfast was a big plus.

luggage storage was mainly in the lobby, which didn't seem to be safe. By request though, the staff helped to keep one important luggage in a small room next to the front desk. It is understandable for the limited space.

Our stay at K Hotel Taipei II was truly delightful and memorable for my family. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, making it easy for us to explore the city. While there were two washing machines and dryers available for guest use, it was unfortunate that only one of the washing machines was working during our stay. However, the provision of coffee and tea for 24 hours as a self-service option was greatly appreciated. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted two 60-inch TVs, which added an extra level of comfort and entertainment for us. One of the highlights for us was the bath tub, which my child thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel staff went above and beyond by assisting us in booking a taxi for our early morning departure at 7.50 am, and they even surprised us with light breakfasts and coffee to ensure we didn't miss out on a meal before our flight. To our surprise, the hotel had prepared a small gift for my child's birthday during our stay, and it truly touched our hearts. This gesture made our trip even more special and memorable. We are definitely planning to return to K Hotel Taipei II on our next visit to Taipei.

I couldn’t find anything to dislike about this hotel.

Location is great. Between 2 metro stations. Breakfast was good too. A lot of choices. Room was spacious and clean. The hotels is very convenient for a short stay visiting Taipei. If you want to reach from the airport take the MRT to Taipei Main station and then the red line to Minguan. Walk 5 minutes max. No need to get a taxi.

Difficult to communicate. They barely speak English but people in Taiwan don’t speak much English.
