The Krabi Forest Homestay

Perfect location : right between the “center” with nightlife / shops and a calmer side with local food market, seafront restaurants etc. The property say they have a wellness center + motorbike renting - they actually don’t, but they are in partnership with them. The massage center just next to the hostel was way better than being in the city center where everyone is approaching you every meter. Same for the motorbike renting, it’s next to the hostel and our motorbikes where new, and really good. The staff was really kind to us and we had a perfect stay here. Thanks to the team!

A fantastic hotel that made all the difference to enhance our stay. All staff were extremely friendly including reception, breakfast, cleaning, maintenance and gardeners. While the exterior of the buildings were somewhat worn the rooms (King rooms) were very nice and fresh, with enough space, very comfortable beds, good bathroom and all necessary amenities such as fridge/freezer, safe, water boiler and hairdryer. The best part was the location, away from the street in a green area with trees and bushes surrounding so that you hardly heard the traffic, but instead you wake up to birds singing outside your room, and you can just sit outside your room and enjoy the piece and quiet. Short walk to the two beaches where Nopparat beach was the quieter and better one for swimming and sunbathing. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Breakfast was very good, where instead of buffet, you had plenty of alternatives to choose from. Very helpful people in the reception that was more than willing to help you with booking of transportations and excursions, as well as good advice. In short a two-star hotel with 5-star service.

There was nothing to complain about.

Great location, a few minutes on foot from two different night markets and two different beaches, yet just far enough from all the traffic and the loud noise from the bars. It almost feels like staying in a jungle, yet the road is just 50 m away. There's a place for parking if you are renting a scooter, which is very convenient. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, starting from the receptionist to the gardeners. We had a small problem with our air conditioner and it was solved literally in minutes. If we ever return to Krabi, I'm pretty sure we're staying at this place again.

The staff were extremely helpful. The guys looking after the garden were great. 36° and they worked all day. I had to buy them a drink and give them a tip every day. You should always reward people who work hard and do the unseen things. We were set back off the main road so it was quiet at night when we wanted to sleep. All the action was within walking distance. 7/11 two minutes down the road. Both beaches within easy walking distance and plenty of restaurants nearby. Loved it. Will be back for sure.

The air con was ok it did the job, but maybe a slightly more powerful one would be a good investment or maybe I am just being picky.

This is an amazing place. First booked in for a couple of nights but extended my stay. It is a really tranquil and quiet place. The chalets are set back, away, from the noisy road and are located in a lush green garden. There is a large fridge and a kettle supplied in the room. Two bottles of water are supplied daily. Wifi was really good. It was a short walk to the beach and to the restaurants. Also there is a hop on hop off mini bus running up and down the road. The breakfast is also really good. We don't eat meat but we were able to have a substantial breakfast every day. They also offer s travel service that is competitively priced and we have no complaints, their tours were excellent. definitely recommend this place.

There is no coffee and tea supplied in the room.

Large room, large refrigerator, daily water bottles, cleaned daily, a pleasant patio, good quality linen, landscaping. Close to both Napparat, the better beach, and Ao Nang, the party town beach, as well as restaurants, shops and the night market. Very helpful front desk staff. One TV channel with mostly English language films. Hot water and good water pressure in shower.

Unstable Wi-Fi. I had significant trouble remaining connected during Zoom meetings. A nearby hotel always had a strong signal. There were stretches, however, when I was researching or streaming when the connection held strong.

Great location. Short walk to restaurants or the night market. Very helpful staff. Could book tours through the staff and they helped get you to correct tour operators on the day of the tour - many tour operators stop at hotel so it's easy to book and go on any tour. Short walk from hotel front to beach or to get on a longtail boat to Railay Beach. Quiet at night. Each room had a seating area so nice and convenient to relax outside.

Property is long - check in near street and then it can be a long walk to the rooms at the other end of the property. But that also makes it secure and quiet. Some people may have an issue with no pool; however, it is a short walk to a nearby beach.

the location is good to take the long boat and go to the beaches such as Rayway beach. Ao Nang beach is not one of the best beaches you want to stay. The rooms are ok but there are not but lights. it is a bit dark inside and reading lights are not provided. Bring your mosquitos electric devise beaucase they are not provided

the water of the shower is warm but not really hot and can serve two showers per day. if the room is for three people, there is a possibility that the third one will not really enjoy hot water. no possible to read in the patio because of mosquitos even in the dry season

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always available to answer questions and fulfil requests. I give them 100%! The location was walking distance from two beaches and right next to a motorbike rental shop. The tour booking option was nice to have right there - we booked one tour through the reception and it was perfect. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Nice big fridge was a bonus. Thank you!

Even though the porch was very nice, I was expecting more privacy there. We were in a room whose porch was open and attached to those of other rooms - this was not a deal breaker at all, but was something we did not expect based on the photos.

The staff were excellent. We found them all welcoming, friendly, helpful and dedicated to providing a great service. I had unwittingly left my heart medication on Phi Phi Island and the girls were outstanding in contacting the resort, requesting a search for the medication and then organizing for it to be sent by boat across to the mainland and picked up, all for free. I am very grateful for the excellent service and can't speak more highly of the staff. The grounds were well maintained and the greenery made our stay even more pleasant. A cool oasis to return to at the end of a day exploring Krabi.
