Avalon Beach Resort

Hotel seems well designed with qualified interior architecture and furnitures, pool is delightful, breakfast is various and delicious. We also had dinner, it was delicious too.

There was heavy moisture smell in the room, but after they cleaned, it was not a problem. While having breakfast, the glasses they put for beverages were not clean. Couch and the decorative cover on the bed was dirty. It seems there is noone who is responsible for maintenance of the hotel. I think cleaning ladies are doing their job well but they should check that kind of details.

Thai style hotel (low rise building, rooms facing a beautiful swimming pool). Very well situated in Jomtien, beach front. The staff was very kind. Very clean room and nice bathroom. Staff is very limited because of covid (not many customers). At the time of this review, there is no restaurant or bar in the hotel but a lot of offers nearby. Although water is provided in the bedroom, you'll need to go to seven eleven (5 min walk) to get you anything else.

The location was just in front of the beach, just to cross not busy road. It's Dongtan beach, beginning of the Jomtien. Perfect location with nice shadow umbrellas run by the locals, very friendly people which will accommodate any of your needs. 100 bat for sanbed and 120 bat for large bottle of cool Chang. The hotel is very nice , I would say 4 stars. Only 3 levels, a very nice pool with plenty of sun beds and tree shadows. Breakfast is ok, nothing special, typical Thai , but the hotel chef tried a new menu every day. We stayed in a pool access room, please note , that any of the pool access rooms do NOT have direct access to the pool. You have to open the little door of your balcony and walk 5 meters to get into the pool, but it's ok, it's just in front of your room balcony.

Nothing, all was perfect. Maybe cleaning was not 100 percent, miss here and miss there, but I am stretching here guys, us literally all was perfect.

Pool was great. A great mix of shady or sunny spots to enjoy for hours. The breakfast buffet is good quality for something that is included in the price of your room. I will be a repeat guest!

There is a 2-inch lip at the entrance/exit of the bathroom. I must have tripped on it a dozen times. The bathtub is also a bit of a reach to climb over to enter the shower. Not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Room quality was very good as well as service from check-in, breakfast, cleaning to check-out. Pool is nice for this level resort and well maintained. Beach just outside and enough space to walk in the mornings/evenings.

Construction work on the neighboring resort was ongoing during our visit, very minor disturbance in the mornings (if likes to sleep late). Off-season time, so many of the services outside were closed or open from time to time. No elevator so needs to be considered if any requirements for that (not our concern).

The location at the beach is great. The rooms are spacious and have a great balcony. We have enjoyed our stay

Breakfast is mainly Thai breakfast, I would have expected to have a greater variety of fresh bread. Some available bread needed to be toasted because it was always old.

Great sized room. Great pool. Great location. Near to shops and eateries plus opposite the beach.

Beds are super firm. Piped music around the pool was unnecessary and annoying. Air conditioning was a little noisy.

Resort is beachfront, great buffet breakfast, very obliging staff, beach cafe offers food all day, short walk to bars and cafes

Beds are hard, Thai daybed in the room uncomfortable for watching television, needs to be greater attention to quality of cafe food.

Quiet location away from the noise and hustle of main streets. Pool was great. Mature landscaping. Staff was hardworking. Buffet breakfast was adequate. The facility is just a bit tired but clean and large rooms and really good value for the money. (August)

The pool in Avalon beach resort is wonderful surrounded by trees and flowers. The hotel has a direct access to the beach, only a small street to cross. It's located in the center of Jomtien.

For breakfast the choice of food is a little bit limited.
