Ramada by Wyndham Van

The staff is so friendly, one of the manager is trying his best to help. The breakfast is amazing and satisfying. Room is very big and bed is comfortable. It is very nice to see the sunset from the terrace. And the restaurant also serve dinner, very tasty and price very reasonable.

The location is a bit far (about 11 km) from center, but it is not the end of the world. You can enjoy cafe and the lakeview.

Wonderful. The staff were courteous and kind. The breakfast delicious , plentiful and imaginative . Super comfortable, luxurious standard room with plenty of space and attention to every detail and comfort with beautiful sea view and sunset. We enjoyed using the gym and it was lovely to sit on the terrace overlooking the lake. I would like to have stayed in that room forever. Genuinely lovely, cared for hotel. Ramada all the way for me in future. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Perfect location in front Van lake, nice to chill out watching spectacular sunset. In room everything you need, beds very comfy, air conditioning working very well and quiet, powerful shower. Delicious breakfast with lots options. Staff very nice and helpful. For me great choice in Van, not far to Akdamar Island.

The room was very nice. Comfy bed, good breakfast, beautiful view on the lake, nice bathroom. Easy to park the car, good location 10 mins from the city center.

There is no bath, just shower, in the bathroom. The room description in Booking should be corrected accordingly.

Great location ovelooking the lake, nice to sit and watch the sunset.

On the last night my room was filled with the stench of cigarette smoke. It occurred in the early hours from 2am through to 6am. It was coming from the bathroom extraction vent. Closing the bathroom door helped but the smell lingered and the bathroom was overwhelmingly smelly in the morning.

Very friendly staff. Helpful. Nice clean hotel. I changed from a 5 star in Dedeman and this 4 star hotel was by far better in terms of facilities and service. It felt more of a 5 star than the one I was in and I think that was due to the staff.

This hotel is located at lakeside so it has a very beautiful view during sunset time. Fortunately they gave us a spacious room at the top floor with amazing view. They provided good breakfast with lots of variety. All staffs are also friendly and very helpful.

Away from centre (if that is considered a minus by some) Should have access to balconies...

The staff were super friendly and many of them spoke English. Best location ever...not far from the airport, right next to the lake, close to places for sightseeing. Breakfast was fantastic, so many things to choose from, and so relaxing eating it on the verandah overlooking the lake. We chose a room with a lake view and it was totally worth it. The sunsets over the lake were glorious. This hotel is a real gem and such good value.
