After 16 hours and near 600 miles in the car, I was met by the bubbly owner, Keith who was at pains to make me comfortable, pointed out the decent eateries for dinner locally and generally had a good chat for 10 minutes or so. We have some mutual interests which made for a good giggle. Room was superb, well needed shower more so. Popped out for a couple of pints and dinner then collapsed into the large, comfy bed. At ( exceptionally good) breakfast was met by the true boss, Tracey, who again was superbly friendly and helpful. All for WAY below the cost quoted by any of the localish Premier Inns. Dont miss this true gem if you are looking to stop in Wiltshire.

Absolutely nothing. Cheers Ears

We received a very warm welcome both on our arrival and at breakfast the following morning. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was varied and I was very happy to find gluten-free options. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed extremely comfortable. The tea & coffee making facilities were good - the extra milk, teabags and coffee sachets left out in a basket at the foot of the stairs, was also a very nice touch. The location on the High Street was perfect, being so close to several pubs and restaurants for dinner and the free private parking in the surgery car park behind the hotel was a convenient bonus. The proximity of Amesbury to Stonehenge, made this an ideal spot and a very pleasant place to spend the night, following our late afternoon visit to the stones.

Nothing to say!

We stayed in the newly renovated units at the back of the property, and they were exceptional. Parking was super easy with a parking lot right next to the hotel. The staff and the managers were extremely friendly and helpful at checkin, breakfast, and checkout. The breakfast was amazing. There is so much to like about this property!!

The extra bed in the room is a sofa bed with hard wooden slats that a fairly thin matress sits on top of. Our teenage daughter ended up needing to move the matress onto the floor to be comfortable. The hotel could look into just putting a single bed in those flats for guests who may need the extra bed.

The warmest greeting! Made to feel immediately welcome and lots of tips for the local areas restaurants and places of interest. The room was clean and tidy. Quiet nights sleep with comfortable bed. We had an early start to do a tour of stonehenge but we're invited back to have breakfast if time allowed. Luckily it did, staff were friendly and very accommodating and the breakfast was great and plentiful. Couldn't be better placed for a pleasant evening in the town and stonehenge access too.

The rooms could do with a bit of a touch up in places but we were happy for the price paid.

The b and b is in a good location easy to find and parking round the corner, the owner is both very pleasant and friendly, easy check after being told about breakfast time and where its served, we booked a small double but to be fair it wasn't that small at all, bed was comfy, room was clean tidy and well laid out, bathroom has a nice easy to use shower. Plenty of places to both eat and drink close, all in all its a good deal for what you pay. Went down to breakfast in the morning, nice selection for every taste, set us up for the rest of the day. Would definitely stop here again.

We were early to check in and were greeted by the owners who could not have been friendlier. They checked our room was ready (as we were early) and it was. Our room was bright and spacious with a lovely en suite shower room. Easy to access (no step) shower which was huge! We were offered information on local eateries for the evening which was useful. Breakfast was very nice indeed, a very generous amount, with plenty of food choices, tea, coffee and juice. There are also tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms .. with biscuits which is unusual these days.

The room was lovely and well appointed. The breakfast was amazing and all the staff fantastic. We have been travelling a while and all our accommodation has been of similar price points, so we were very happy with this one compared to others around. Was so happy to have 2 pillows and 2 cushions each, you’ve no idea how few places give you anything more than just one pillow. Nice bathroom

The light in the bathroom came on automatically so blinded you in the middle of the night and disturbs the others in the room, or goes off when you are in the shower because you aren’t moving around enough. Also the ventilation in the bathroom is not great.

Booked the "small double room". No complaints really, but the 'on-suite' bathroom is exteremely small. Not quite sure how they squeezed that in, but anyway was fine by me really once I got used to it. But I was on my own. A couple would probably struggle. Other than that no issues, really friendly staff, breakfast excellently managed and cleanliness extremely good. Great location if you are vsisiting as a tourist (I wasn't, I was there to visit my daughters who live down there), so I know the area fairly well anyway. I'd go back in a heartbeat, but may choose a bigger bedroom if available (they do get fully booked pretty quickly which speaks for itself really), I liked it. No one intruding all the time. Met my daughters and a friend and spent rest of time reading as it's very quiet (out the back at least, which is where I was). Give it a try. Good value for money in this patrticular area - they could probably charge more but don't, which I suspect is why they probably get repeat customers. PS. If you want a restaurant tip, go to Piazza ( guess what an Italian restaurant) reallly good food. May need to book. they get busy. Andy from Derby (UK) Stayed there 20 - 22 March 2023.

Nothing worth mentioning over and above what I have said above.

Super friendly welcome and very helpful staff. The proprietor allowed us to store our bikes around the back. Parking close by. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Wonderful shower bath and towels provided. Tea and coffee making facilities provided and extras available at the bottom of the stairs. Great location for two family friendly pubs - the New Inn and the Bell, both which did food. Excellent location for visiting Stonehenge - only a 5 minute drive away. Excellent breakfast. A wonderful stay.

Couldn't open the main window!

Receptionists were very helpful in that initially I couldn't find the property, and then had a problem in the car park in where to park. Also had a problem trying to get hot water in the basin, the receptionist came and helped. Very comfortable bed. Quiet room.

Perhaps a note by the basin that getting hot water takes nearly 2 minutes or more. Having that in the brochure is OK, but at the taps themselves is better. Also the hot/cold water indicator on the tap was the wrong way around?! Like all hotels, etc., never instructions on how to use the shower safely. I turned up the button as again was just getting cold water for some time. The steam was so bad that it filled the shower cubicle and room and therefore had to be careful not to have scalded myself before I turned the button down. Security light located outside Room 3. It went on and off all night. (I never sleep that well the first night anywhere so was aware of it. ) The curtain wasn't easy to pull across the ceiling high pole as I am only 5ft, but did the best I could!
