Clifton Private Hotel

The hotel is ideally situated to the town centre in a fantastic location, the hotel itself is nice, cosy and spotlessly clean from the breakfast room to the bar area and the bedrooms all aspects of the hotel were immaculate. What makes this hotel (for me) is the owner and the team, nicer people you couldn't wish to meet, they just couldn't do enough for you I'd go as far to say they were the friendliest family hotel we have ever stayed in. Breakfast in the morning was also on point, everything hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would not stay anywhere else. Well done Clifton Private Hotel, keep it up.

We arrived early and mark was more than happy to let us store our bags til the room was ready, from the moment we walked through the doors, we were made to feel at home, by both Mark and sue, the rooms were fresh and clean, with everything out family needed for our stay, breakfast was fabulous, a great selection of cereal, and a full english for both adults and children, tea, coffee and fresh juice also available as much as we liked... the bar area was great, with a great selection of drinks and snacks, and the games helped to keep the children entertained. Also, what a great location central to everything, just a 5 min walk to the see front and the tower... the best place in blackpool we have stayed. Will 100% be returning with the family.

Blackpool is always a gamble when it comes to hotels. I took that gamble with The Clifton Private Hotel and it paid off. The hosts were welcoming and really couldn't do enough for us. The owners are doing the hotel up bit by bit so I'm confident it will look amazing when it's done. The hotel has a beautiful newly decorated lounge and bar with good priced drinks and snacks. There is games on the tables for children or families to play too. There is also a lovely dining room where you can help yourself to many cereals, toast or cereal bars. On offer also is a full English breakfast and it was very tasty and freshly cooked. Tea, coffee and fresh orange is also on tap. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable with tea making facilities also. The location is good and only a short walk away from the tower and promenade.

I liked every part of our stay.

Staff were absolutely fantastic hosts such lovely warm welcoming people and they couldn’t do enough for you. The bar area downstairs was lovely and had a chilled atmosphere with games on the tables to keep the kids amused, drinks were reasonably priced. Breakfast in the morning we could not fault at all there was plenty choices and everything was so fresh and not to much which I like as usually when you get a full English it’s greasy and just too much but the Clifton’s breakfast was perfect and good quality with condiments on the table fresh juice and tea / coffee. It was a 5 minute walk to all local attractions on the sea front very quiet area on a night time. I just want to say a big thank you to the staff for giving us a lovely experience and we can’t wait to come back again 😊.

We had a fantastic stay at The Clifton, everything from start to finish was perfect. Lots of communication prior to our arrival, we were able to drop our bags off earlier than check in which was a big help. Check in was easy and informative, the room (family) was very clean, presentable and had everything we expected and needed from a B&B. The location is perfect for visiting Blackpool just a couple of minutes walk from the front and Coral Island with the Tower to the right 2 mins and Madame Tussaud’s, The Sea Life Centre and central pier 2 mins to the left. Parking wasn’t available as we had booked a bit last minute but we’re told of nearby car parks, we booked via Just Park app and was great. We booked breakfast for each morning and this is super value for money and was excellent, Tea/Coffee, juice, cereals, toast and a choice of Full English or request what you would like, all cooked perfectly and tasty. One morning there was a very small mix up which wasn’t an issue at all but Mark insisted on buying us a drink for the mix up that wasn’t necessary but later that evening at the bar we were given a free drink which was a very kind gesture and showed excellent customer service and a personal touch that we were very grateful for. The bar area is also very clean and tidy with some table top games and large screen tv, all very informal and friendly with other guests and the family that own/run the Clifton.

Was greeted by Sue who was lovely and very helpful & very pleasant. Nothing was to much trouble and was made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked through the doors .

The property was very clean , comfortable , and the breakfast was amazing everything you could ask for . From a full English , toast jam , marmalade cereal , orange juice , tea, coffee . In their bar which I would say the lager was lovely they had little games on the table to keep the children / Adults entertained. Which was great having my 5 year old grandson with us

We had a really good stay at the Clifton Hotel, the staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome, considering the new management have only been running the B&B for 10 months they are doing a wonderful job. The B&B does need modernising especially the bathrooms but they are functional now and very clean, I know the new management will make it look very chic and I look forward to seeing what they do with the place. The breakfast was brilliant, a good choice of food and drink, the full English was cooked to a high standard. It’s a great location for getting around Blackpool, a lot of attractions are near by. All in all the Clifton Private Hotel is an ideal place to stay in Blackpool.

The B&B does need modernising, especially the bathrooms, the only thing that I did find uncomfortable was the mattress but that’s an easy fix.
