Modern, clean, lots of cool touches with the design in both the rooms and in the public areas, great location, great price. Would definitely stay again.

Our aircon wasn't great/didnt work properly and the windows don't open so room was really stuffy and too hot for us (we like a cold room) We called reception to report but couldn't get an answer. Meant we woke up several times during the night sweating. Even the corridors etc in the hotel were generally very warm, too warm for us. Also room wasn't ready at the advised check in time which was a bit of a pain as we had plans and had a small turnaround time to get ready :-(

This is a very nice budget hotel within walking distance of most of the popular tourist places. The rooms are large for a relatively low-cost place and have many amenities like an adjustable bed, a backlit LED panel behind the TV that makes a great nightlight, and a small fridge. The bathroom area has separate shower, toilet and sink spaces that make getting ready for the morning a breeze. The room and bathroom were very clean. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff are very helpful. We left an Ipad in the room and the front office people helped preparing it for shipping it back to us.

Despite the low cost, the hotel charges extra for many things. The to-go breakfast is 10 pounds but is only a bacon sandwich, yogurt, pastry and small coffee. There are no coffee makers in the rooms, and if you want a cup of coffee, its three pounds. They charge an extra 10 pounds if you check in early, before 1:00 pm, which seems excessive. If a room is available, why charge extra?

we had a room with no window. when booking it wasnt made clear that there was no window it just said limited or no external light. we wouldnt have booked this room type if we had known.

The room was clean and the housekeeping did a good job. The equipment was adequate and completely sufficient for us. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also plentiful and delicious!

Unfortunately, for example, the bar wasn't as clean as our room. On the contrary, it was rather grubby. The floor (carpet!) was stained and would have needed at least a vacuum cleaner. The tables were not wiped and were so sticky that it was difficult to get the drinks menu off. Also in the lobby and the elevators the floors are obviously only cleaned once a day. Stains from spills were not cleaned up throughout the day and the resulting footprints stretched for yards.

I skipped breakfast. Yotel is good but I paid a premium rate £225. because it was last minute. Lady on the desk was great and checked me in early cos the weather was awful and next day extended my check out too.. One big disappointment was the bar closing early with people still needing to to relax and enjoy a drink after hours of sightseeing and trekking round the city. I was clearly told the bar would stay open until 1 am so I enjoyed a siesta and TV in my cosy excellent room and I came down to the bar late. At 11 pm I was told last orders and go to bed. Who makes the policy here?? Management or two young bar staff. A group of people arrived at 11.10see q pm obviously cold and tired. They were told .Sorry you missed last orders

We really enjoyed our stay. We found the room to be thoroughly clean, spacious, and comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were on the 6th floor, and it was very peaceful and quiet, we couldn't hear a sound once in our room (we bumped into other families who were staying on the same floor). As for the bathroom, we never had the problem of water going everywhere. Of course, as we do at home, we dry a bit ourselves before getting out of the shower. And the shower door is well sealed. The position is also perfect to reach the main attractions and shops just by walking. We don't understand how someone can write a bad review on this hotel. We haven't found any flaws, and we'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately one member of staff was quite abrupt and slightly rude. We were disappointed to find out at 3.30pm we couldn’t check in, despite being told we were able to check in from 3pm. We didn’t actually get to check in until 3.45pm upon being told “we were in luck” as a room had been cleaned… but how was this luck when we’d paid for a room from 3pm? Surely if check out is 11am and check in is 3pm, there should be enough time to sort our room. This dampened our experience slightly. Anyway, we still had a good stay.
