The Bull

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I spoke to Alex before my visit, to enquire about parking for my motorbike. Alex assured me there was plenty of parking and, reserved me a room on the ground floor with parking directly outside my room's large window. My room was great & very clean, with lots of space and a very comfortable bed. A meal I had in the evening was lovely & the breakfast was also very nice with lots of selection. I would definitely stay at The Bull again.

Everything was great

Attractively laid out and designed hotel with beautifully well-kept and extensive gardens, and plenty of off-road parking. Very conveniently located for visits to our family in Farnham Common and Ealing. Staff exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast and good menu for evening meals.

Bedroom (No 127), although clean and well-appointed, was very small with little room to move between one side of bed and furniture. Hotel clearly frequently used for weddings and other gatherings at weekends, with guests who take over the main bar making it difficult for others to sit and drink (our second experience of this inconvenience at this hotel). Hotel needs to keep such parties to private rooms and bars away from facilities used by other guests.

We ended up here unexpectedly after our connecting flight was delayed until the following day and all of the airport hotels were booked up. Even though the circumstances weren't ideal, it was such a treat to stay here and the perfect remedy to a long a stressful day of traveling. The airline had our bags, so we didn't have much with us, but the friendly staff loaned us a power cord and helped us arrange transport back to the airport early the next morning. The hotel is cozy and welcoming, and the surrounding area is lovely. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with a kettle, mini fridge, and tv. Highly recommend!

Very clean. Comforatble bed with good linen. Room good. some good points such as large shower tray. Demister on mirror. Lighting in room. Fridge.

The room is dated which does not matter except the heating method is so out of date. to have hot air that blows hot and then cold to maintain a temperature all night is awful. noise is very bad. general noise from hotel plumbing is bad for a Grand Room. Bathroom heating is totally insufficient. Bathroom need to be at 25 deg for a top standard room. Heating lets the hotel down and should be improved.

BED ROOM 145 WAS VERY COMFORTABLE WITH LOVELY TWIN BEDS AND GREAT SHOWER. BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT WITH GREAT CHOICE, ATHE FOOD WAS KEPT REALLY HOT. VERY ATTENTIVE STAFF AND HELPFULL.

LACK OF BISCUITS (1 PKT WHICH HAD 2 BISCUITS INSIDE), NO DECAF TEA AND LACK OF SWEETENERS. RATHER DISAPPOINTED CONSIDERING THE PRICE I PAID FOR THE ROOM. I KNOW YOU CAN PHONE RECEPTION FOR MORE IF REQUIRED BUT THESE ITEMS SHOULD BE IN SENSIBLE QUANTITYS ON ARRIVING IN YOUR ROOM. SMALL THINGS BUT CAN MAKE DIFFERENCE TO SCORE.

Very friendly and helpful staff as usual. Breakfast was good. Very hot on the first morning less so for the other two days. Our room was made up well at times convenient for us which was great. Bar meal was also excellent but the menu has been the same for ages!

There were crumbs in the breakfast room and bar area which should have been swept up as they were unsightly if noting else. OK it was Easter weekend but room prices were higher than previous visits with no offers for regular guests? No Rebellion IPA on the last night of our stay! Disaster - LoL.

I liked the outdoor garden areas I liked the willingness of the staff to service I liked the pork sausages in the breakfast. I liked the proximity to the Gerrards Cross where there are nice restaurants and basic amenities

The restaurant menu needs to improve in variety and in quality, meat dishes in particular. They should provide every morning the option of loaf bread/s instead of just the sliced bread.

The staff were all so accommodating. I don’t think I have ever been anywhere where 100% of the staff really did their job and the most important job they do is making guests feel welcome and they all went above and beyond to do this. breakfast was delicious. we are their each evening after a day at Royal Ascot and enjoyed every meal. Highly recommend this place.

The food was very good and varied and available all day. Very good cooked breakfast. Helpful, efficient and friendly staff, very responsive to every request and the venue is central for many tourist attractions. Getting into London was also very easy.

The toiletries could have been better and there was a problem with a refrigerator all week and it didn’t cool sufficiently but these were minor irritations and did not spoil our stay

Room was large and clean. Very quiet although the hotel was obviously busy. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of options. Staff were polite and helpful.

When I booked I said that I was bringing my dog with e. I was not contacted by the hotel to say that the room I had booked was not avaiable due to the dog until the day before I travelled.
