Great location to explore surrounding area. Good food and drink. Lovely staff…..big shout out to Claire who was so friendly and helpful. Room spotlessly clean.

Our room was a bit small but it was fine for what we needed. Didn’t mind dogs in the bar area but personally did mind the fact that they are allowed in the restaurant area in the evening. New computer system appears to be causing problems….our bill for food and drink purchased during our stay wasn’t accurate. We were given a refund for incorrect billing. My advice to anyone staying here is to tally up your food and drink as you go or pay for it at the time rather than putting it onto your room bill.

the quality and quantity of the food was fine, but on one occasion,we waited 40 mins to give our order for breakfast and we had to tell a member of staff. If we had not done ,i don,t think we would have got a breakfast. The choice of breakfast food was also fine. the check in staff did a good job.The cleaning staff did a good job.

The car park would be better tarmaced and marked out with disabled bays near the entrance. The existing arrangement of park where you can on a shingle surface is pretty poor.A couple of staff let the hard working manager down badly due to their lacklustre attitude to the work that they do.

Stayed for 3 nights this week and everything was lovely. Bruce who runs The King William IV greeted us on arrival and made us all feel very welcome, including the dogs. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good and ate in dog friendly restaurant every night and had one of Bruce’s chefs special curry (lovely). All the staff were very friendly and the pub itself was a typical country pub in the heart of the village. Area great for dog walking.

Nothing. But areas are just a little tired but a refurbishment is happening very soon.

Fantastic place. Great food . Made to feel very welcome! Bathroom a little tired but it's an old building so perfectly acceptable. Lovely towels and lots of hot water . Very comfy queen size bed. Beautiful bed linen. Really warm welcome. Ate in restaurant Saturday night. Monk fish was superb. Breakfast Sunday morning excellent. Service and welcome beyond excellent. We travelled to Norfolk to collect our new labrador puppy and will definitely return when he is bigger with him as its dog friendly. Can't recommend enough.

The room was very comfortable and relaxing, it had a nice layout with everything you need. The restaurant and bar area was very welcoming, we sat in the bar area for dinner and we didn’t feel like we didn’t belong and the dining area was good and spacious as well. Very good accommodation for dogs as well as we brought our two small dogs.

In the dining area I thought the chairs were too tall for the tables, as I am short I found it a bit difficult and kept hitting my leg on the table when sitting back down. Apart from that a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was fairly quiet but we stayed in to eat at the restaurant at night and the food was superb. The portions were hearty and we enjoyed pan fried chicken and braised beef and a bottle of wine. The rooms were comfortable clean and well presented with coffee bottled water and biscuits. The beds super comfy and the bathroom with lots of products to soak in the bath. Breakfast was included in the price and we honestly have not had a better one anywhere we have stayed. I had salmon and scrambled eggs and my husband a full English. The staff were absolutely brilliant and friendly even the gardener chatted with us. Now i know why i call Norfolk my second home its because of places on the map like this.

Location peaceful. Lovley building. Super room. Friendly staff. Great food. Lovely stay.

Hotel is dog friendly and we appreciate that we knew this in advance but another guest staying had a dog that smelt to high heaven and left a trail of nasty fur wherever it went. Put us off our breakfast as the dog was in the restaurant and smelt so awful. Dogs should not be allowed in eating areas as its not pleasant or hygienic. This we appreciate is a personal opinion. Bed was a little too hard for us and pillows a bit lumpy.

The staff were friendly and helpful but special mention must be made for Bruce - "Mine Host". The RedCat Pub Company people need to take out a patent and copyright for this guy before someone else steals his DNA. Energetic, helpful and enthusiasm are inadequate descriptions for him; and we are not friends or relatives! Food was very good, always hot and well cooked. Full English was very "full" if taken without any omissions. Dinner menu had a good range of , with additional special nights - pie, curry and steak, to supplement the usual menu. We were there for the Monday night quiz and this was well attended and clearly enjoyed by the local residents We were shown to our room after checking in, our main luggage was carried there and the emergency route and late entry routes fully explained to us. Our room was clean, serviced every day with a good supply of bathroom items; biscuits and hot drink makings replenished as needed, as was the free bottle of water. Plenty of free on-site parking; free wifi, which was always stable. Location is great for King's Lynn, Sandringham and the coastal attractions. The village has a week-day bus service for Hunstanton and King's Lynn. We would readily return.

We visited too soon after the acquisition and didn't get the benefit of the enhancements that will clearly follow!

The rooms match the type of inn as described with old furniture but comfortable. The Inn has a nice garden and ample parking and is in a pleasant area and with a few miles of Hunstanton which I found to be lovely. We weren't too keen on the evening dinner available but the breakfasts were excellent. However we noticed that a number of people did stop there to have drinks and an evening meal. We tended to drive to Hunstanton to have our evening meal because of the choice available. All in all we had a very enjoyable four day break

The room could have been larger it was quite cramped

This was our first visit to this pub, just a 10 minute drive to Hunstanton from its location. Stayed here with my wife for our anniversary. Check-in was smooth. Our room was upgraded, which was a nice touch. The room it's self was clean and had everything you needed. The bed was big and comfortable, and we slept well. Staff were friendly, and Lauren was exceptionally friendly and is a credit to the pub. Breakfast was really nice. There is plenty of space and nice decor inside. Plenty of parking.

I felt that at breakfast, there could have been more cereal choices. Also, when paying for our evening meal and drinks, before checking out, I got the invoice, but it wasn't broken down to exactly what we had that evening and the bottle of prosecco we had in the room. I think this should be changed. That's it.
