Esplanade Hotel Llandudno

The family room with sea view was lovely. It had beautiful views all across the promenade and pier. There was a big bay window and four comfy beds. Great location and free parking at the hotel!

Probably due to Covid there was no bar or breakfast service unfortunately. Also there was no Wi-Fi at the hotel but I think they are sorting that out. Our room was huge and comfy but a few other things would of made it a-lot better like - some leaflets/information of the local area/a folder with the hotel information in about facilities, check in, etc. Nothing was branded so you don’t even really know where your staying really? Some hooks and shelves in the bathroom as there is no where to hang towels or toiletries. It was obviously an accessible/disabled bathroom at some point, where this is being changed in the future. A lamp for night time as we had to sit in the dark as the kids were all in bed. It was real value but a few tweaks and it could be wonderful!

The greeting on arrival was lovely, the staff on Reception could not have been more friendly or more helpful. The room was exceptionally clean. On arriving back at the hotel after our evening out, the night staff were very friendly and accommodating, opening the bar for us to have a nightcap. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and plenty of it. Location and parking excellent. Altogether a great stay.

My one criticism was that, on arrival at breakfast and not having booked, the waitress serving did not seem to know whether we could have it or not. This was quickly rectified by the manager, and we were soon shown to a table where we enjoyed fabulous food.

Everything was lovely it was a very spacious room, very clean all fixtures and fittings was lovely, lovely view and comfortable we liked it very much.

There was no towel rail in the bathroom I put the hand towel on the back of the toilet system so it was close to the sink, and there was no where to put your clothes etc accept on the floor or the toilet when the lid is down.

Clean rooms, comfy bed, friendly staff & good food.

The room decor was quite dated, but that’s a minor issue.

We booked the room last minute and the staff were so welcoming and accomodating, going out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed. Sunrise from the sea facing room was amazing.

Great location on the front near the hub of all the attractions. Carpark at the back and plenty of places to eat and drink around. The triple family room we had booked was upgraded to a quadruple which had a sea view and was very spacious . All rooms have large tv and tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of milk which is generally my bugbear. The rooms are wheelchair friendly with wet room access.

The breakfast wasn’t great - there was plenty of it continental and cooked but the bacon eggs and hash browns all seemed to have been sitting for too long and were overdone and dry . There were adverts in the bar for Pimms - glasses and pitchers which we tried to order but were told by the barman that he couldn’t do anything that was advertised ! It didn’t really matter to us but they lost a sale !

Main staff were welcoming friendly and accommodating

The staff were lovely and so accommodating however although we were told we would have housekeeping daily, which we did. But we never had fresh towels or our beds made. All they did was wash mugs and emptied the bin which was disappointing. Also we asked for a sheet as room was warm (we did have a fan) the staff didn’t knock the door and just entered. I was asleep at the time but she woke me with her chat to my friend. But a couple could have been doing anything and she entered with no prior warning

location was great, the staff were so friendly and it was spotlessly clean. Check in and out was seamless.

Parking was limited, but not too much of an issue as we only had to pay £4:50 for 24hrs on a local car park.

Lovely hotel ,good size room with comfy bed, great sea view of Llandudno. Floors accessible by a Lift which is really helpful for persons climbing stairs . Very nice breakfast , toast, tea , coffee and cereal self service , breakfast meal with four choices are served by staff. Spacious clean tidy dining room on the ground floor with a great view of Llandudno depending if you sit near the window. Very friendly staff.Hotel has a bar downstairs on the ground floor with toilets. Outside there are tables and chairs to sit out , did not use them when we stayed because of the weather. Good location for Llandudno sea front ,pier ect ,shopping area round corner IE the victoria centre . We stayed in March to see a show at The Venue Cymru , this would be a great place to stay during the season from April , when the resort has more things open . When we stop again in Llandudno,this would be the hotel. Had a good time here

Nothing to dislike,this a very nice hotel
