Instructions for key safe and parking very clear. Spotless and beautifully furnished room decorated to a high standard, a rare find. Large room with a comfy bed with good quality sheets. A lovely armchair to relax in and a TV mounted on the wall. Shower over bath in a spotless bathroom. Quiet residential area without passing traffic. This is a bed only room with a kitchen area for your use. A kettle, sink and fridge with crockery are provided with teas, coffee, water and milk available. No breakfast goods are provided but there are a good variety of cafes and shops within easy walking.

Good amount of windows with high standard shutters but with no view.

The ease of entering, the warm welcome, the spotless entrance, the cleanliness everywhere (amazing). Facilities in the room (esp the small kitchen) were superb. Great to have real coffee not "instant". Lovely bed linen, towels. Exceptionally quiet (esp for sleep). A fantastic experience, the owner should be very proud.

Hard to find a single negative about April House. The only tiny thing that bothered me was only cold water in the bathroom sink. I had to boil a kettle to shave. Nothing else.

Warm welcome from the owner who was extremely helpful in providing information about parking etc. The bedroom was lovely with great attention to detail and high quality bedding and towels. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable .. it was hard to get up in the morning! Lovely kitchen area tucked away with fridge, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if in the area.

Beautiful house in peaceful location close to town center. The room was very well equipped with a modern clean bathroom, fluffy towels and super comfortable bed. There was plenty of storage space and the little kitchen cabinet is handy. We appreciated the early checkin and late check-out, Nuala was a great host.

TV had some issues with reception. Some herbal teas would make a lovely addition..

Breakfast not included. The b&ɓ is now a boutique place with self entry and no contact with the owner. Also there is no parking nearby and the nearest car park is very expensive during the day, but free after 7pm with no concessions for disability parking.

Perfect location for cafes and restaurants, the room is decorated to a high standard, with a very very comfortable bed, which I wanted to take with me. April House was definitely worth visiting. Thank Nuala for your text messages.

The landlords were exceptionally kind as my husband was sick just after we arrived. Brought him soup and toast. Carried our suitcases as my husband was unable due to being unwell.

Expensive if staying longer than a week.

Nuala is a welcoming host. The house is lovely and the rooms are beautiful with good facilities. Location is great - just 1 minute walk from town centre shops/bars/restaurants. Lovely environment to work and rest in.
