Windward Passage Hotel

Due to the weather our flight got canceled two times and the second day I made this booking within an hour of arriving to the hotel. The staff was very understanding and nice. We didn't try to rush or bully them like other guests did and this ended in us getting a room faster. A little kindness goes a really long way on this island. I wish we would have been able to really enjoy the place more as it was very beautiful and the pool setting as great for relaxing and taking photos.

I have a slight fear of heights and the court yard view while pretty made me nervous. Other than that our rook had some kind of shutters to the bathroom that I wasn't sure you could open. Pretty neat if it's just you and someone else having fun. Weird when you have family with you.

the room itself was a nice size ,the staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was very good, the hotel was clean and beautiful. the location is the best , in walking distance of everything, the front desk staff was so pleasant and so polite ,security was helpful and secured cabs for me ,they were awesome.

the room lacks microwave which is important feature. the coffee pot had no cover so I didn't make any coffee, the ice machine on the 4th floor was out of order and I didn't like walking down the stairs, I wish they could clean the rom more often and leave enough towels.

We booked at the last minute because of flight issues related to Hurricane Fiona. It was a fairly stressful time for us and probably for the staff also, but the staff could not have been more helpful. They gave us information about the area, helped us get a taxi when we needed to leave on short notice. Outstanding service.

This is an older hotel and shows some wear, but it is clean and comfortable with a restaurant on the property with a good selection of items. Good value for the price.

Nice hotel, price is reasonable. I originally reserved a room facing to the rear of the hotel. When I checked in noticed a leak coming from the mini fridge. I went to the desk to ask for a mop, but they sent someone up to do the mopping and then they moved us to another room which had an excellent view of the Ocean, no additional cost for the upgrade. Front Desk folks were polite, friendly and easy to talk too.

Only down side is Pandemic Problems: like all of the shops on the premises weren't open. I was able to visit the Bar :)

When we first arrived we were put in an older room and the air didn’t work. We talked to the front desks and they immediately apologized & moved us to an upgraded room with better amenities & good air. Although there were a couple of little bugs we killed around the coffee pot (which we never used) , everything else was great. Staff was so helpful and nice. Location was beautiful & convenient! Taxis were always available for transport! We will be returning with our whole family soon!

My fiancé and I had needed a much deserved vaca COVID life and work had us at each other’s throats so I planned a trip and we definitely got that old thing back ;) The property is conveniently located 10 mins from the airport and is less than 20 mins from all the action of the island . I was a lil worried about check in because of the reviews I had read previously. Check in is at 4 pm so plan accordingly... we got off our flight left our luggage in a locked facility monitored by the staff walked the downtown area and shopped until check in.. upon arrival room was as listed and better than I had hoped my girlfriend is a SUPER girl and likes nice things and she approved so I was happy. Staff were pleasant informative and helpful. I’d definitely return

Just during our stay COVID still had the island in restrictions(12pm) so we couldn’t fully get all the island in

The hotel is newly renovated. You can’t expect American Standards in other countries even if it’s US territory. For me the hotel was nice. Only thing I wish it had was a full body mirror. The location was perfect and the hotel felt safe. It was gated with security staff all through out the night. The rooms were clean. There is a bar on site. The restaurant wasn’t open every day but when it was the breakfast was awesome. The staff will get you a taxi just ask. They can seem rude but again they aren’t Americans and their culture can be rude. Don’t take it personal. Also we arrived before check in time. They secured our luggage and directed us the right direction for good food.

That it didn’t have a full body mirror in the room.

Hotel was waterfront, which was pleasant. The security guard at the hotel, an elderly gentleman was phenomenal and explained how to get anywhere using their public transportation, called safaris... turned out to be an incredible experience and saved us a ton of money we would otherwise have spent on taxis. He answered any and all questions out of the goodness of his heart. He is a definite attribute & asset to this hotel

I loved the location, literally on the waterfront. The hotel is gorgeous, especially at night when it's illuminated. Very close to the airport. A lot of restaurants and tourist sites within a few blocks

Walking into the lobby, got such a depression already. Then only one staff working at front desk from 7am-midnight. Furniture and everything is so worn out and dirty. I have to wear flip flops to shower in the stained bathtub. The floor inside the room was dirty too...the room is noisy from the traffic on the road next to the hotel. I have no idea how they will charge what they charged...the pictures on website look much nicer than in reality. I booked 2 rooms for a night before transferring to the Marriott Frenchmen’s cove which I booked as a membership...but arrived one day earlier due to the flight tickets issue. Wow...the worst experience from Windward Passage...when we checked in Marriott Frenchman’s Cove resort...we were all felt like from hell to heaven!
