Motel 6-Yuma, AZ - East

Quietness, comfort for the cost. No amenities but once you know that you can bring your own personal bathing supplies. No hair dryer or nose tissues, just bring your own. I liked the small desk. The sturdy chair helped with chair exercises. Call office for best rates.

The refrig did not work. My injection pen should have remained cold. No grab bar in shower. I'm not handicapped but for support in a wet soapy tub shower I could have used one stepping in and out.

Laundry, staff were very sweet, Pets stay free, Denny's and convenience store close by, microwave, refrigerator, clothes hangar, sunrises

Walkability not that pleasant. Taxes and fees made the room total higher than what was listed, location overall needed maintenance: pipes were leaking and bathrooms needed re-caulking.

1). Lack of safety bars and non slip when showering in a bath tub. I would have preferred a shower stall or at least more no slip or fall measures in the bath tub area. 2). The red painted curb area near the steps leading to room 201 are deceiving in that after stepping up over the red painted curb, encountering a ramp- sloped sidewalk is unexpected and hazardous. Possibly the sloped area could also be painted to warn of its existence. I fell there.

Clean room; access key not working next day... had to have the office reactivate both "keys". Ants next to in-room washing sink. For just an overnight stay it was fine.

Extra $4.50 charge for ground floor room vs. booking charge for 17-steps up and down to the 2nd floor rooms. Yikes.

Its a great location, near to the Interstate, plenty of restaurants to choose from. The rooms are to a good standard, you can see some extra care is taken, no complaints at all. The staff recognise you and you always feel welcome. We will be back there later this year.

Robert the night clerk was very nice. He had me checked in in 5 minutes. It's right next to Denny's and circle K in case you want to eat or grab a few snacks. And it's never noisy even though it's right off the freeway.

The ice machine wasn't working. The housekeepers could spend a little more time detailing the rooms. Like the walls and baseboards. I use to have my own cleaning business so I always look at things like that. It's a habit. There was no frig, coffee maker or microwave in my room. For $80.00 a night they should put those things in there.

We were in Room 168 which is a handicap room; it met all our expectations and more. Bathroom had many safety bars, and the tub had a pull-down seat to take a shower which made it more accessible. The room had lots of area for a wheelchair. When we make another trip and stop in Yuma, we will request this room.

I had trouble sleeping but that probably was me and not the bed. My husband slept very well.

I stayed at 3 different hotels, others not a Motel 6, and this was by far the best. it was clean and basic but was well up-kept, hard to find these days, & a perfect set up for my dogs. The staff, you can tell, are very hardworking.

No charge for dogs. Let me say it again no charge for a dog. Easy to find parking in fact right out front. Easy to walk the dog, lots of grassed in areas.

Typically Motel 6 Spartan but even more than normal. Just enough soap and toilet paper and towels to get you through.

Mattress was very comfortable. Room was spacious.

Toilet looked stained and the tub had a blue cleaning powder left in it, causing me to slip but I didn't fall. An older person would for sure had fallen. It was an overlook on house keeping. There was no shampoo, conditioner or blow dryer. If I had known that I would have brought my own.
